I like Robin Hood a lot too.
MisterMaleficent, welcome aboard. Maleficent has the distinction of my favorite Disney villain, I think she's awesome, so I love the sn. I agree, I love Sleeping Beauty, but wouldn't say it's "best." It comes closer than most too. You should see some of the earlier ones, especially Cinderella!
How old are you, btw? (Just wondering). Anyhoo, welcome.

I raised my rating on Dumbo considerably after having seen it again for the first time years. I forgot how great it was.

Yeah, you probably watched The Rescuers when you were 8, so watch it again.

Especially the one voiced by that woman in White Christmas and the Sister Acts!

Why so low Jack.
I really enjoyed that film.
Penny got kidnapped and she was so brave.
Throwing that bottle to the ocean to get help was a great idea.
I recommend you to watch it again.
Go buy it or rent it .

Yeah, I think Jack's judging the animation, not the film itself, besides that he hasn't even seen the huge change from the VHS to the DVD, the movie has really changed, as I so kindly told him already.

The Rescuers is a movie I remember very well, and I think it's just a bland movie overall. There are some good points, but I feel it's mediocre.

I guess I rated the movies that I grew up a little bit higher because of the fact that it means much more to me than the others.
Also, someone mentioned that if Brother Bear was released about 10 years earlier when animated movies flourished and Disney was at it's best, it would have done so much more better. Brother Bear was an underrated movie that not many people gave a chance.

I agree with you about BB - a much stronger film than many people say it is, and certainly one of the best movies Disney has put out recently.

I went back and edited my list to include Brother Bear and Home on the Range. I agree with those that say Brother Bear's very underrated. Although I noticed some rehashed elements, I feel that overall it's a solid film. As a matter of fact, I find myself liking it more and more with each successive viewing.
Joe: I'm curious. You rated Cinderella 3 out of 5. Considering how anxious you've been over the film's DVD release, I figured you liked it more than that, or is that rating just outdated?

Snow White:8
Pinocchio: 6
Fantasia: 7
Bambi: 7
Cinderella: 5
Sleeping Beauty:8
101 Dalmatians: 7
Lady and the Tramp: 7
Jungle Book: 6
Fox and the Hound: 4
Little Mermaid: 9
Beauty and the Beast: 10

The Lion King: 11 out of 10!!!(if it existed)
Pocahontas: 6
The Hunchback of Notre Dame: 5

Home on the Range: 1
I ranked the movies that first popped into my head so there it is. You may just rank the movies above; all of them, or maybe only the ones that you want (if you're lazy)
