They may not look that horrible as still pictures, but just wait to see them in motion. I mean, not as crappy as "Hunchback II", but the characters look terrible.
Thanks for the link! I'm glad to see that Mushu is in the film. The characters look ok. I like the bright colors.
As I said, you gotta see the trailer... Not that the animation is horrible, but Mulan and Shang are completely off-model!

I trust Alan Menken to do a great job to what ever song(s) are added to Aladdin (and maybe Mermaid).
Alan Menken had nothing to do with "The Lion King". The songs were composed by Elton John and Tim Rice!
Well, I'm against the "new song" thing because it is just a marketing tool... Come on, do you really think that the filmmakers wanted "The Morning Report" to be in the film?

Seeing that Disney didn't advertise any "new animation/song" kind of thing in the "Aladdin" trailer, I expect it to be the "original" version (with the IMAX tinkering). Of course Disney will advertise that the DVD brings never before heard songs, specially considering how many songs were cut from the film... But I think they will be included only as bonus features, like they are doing with "Brother Bear" and "Alice in Wonderland" (by the way, "I'm Odd" is quite fun :P )

Oh, and I would also like to see more screen caps! Thanks for posting them, MMB!
I'm perfectly aware, of who did the music form The Lion King - thank you. I never said Alan Menken did music for the Lion King... In fact my whole point was that he did not, and therefore had nothing to do with Morning Report...

And for the last time - NO - Morning Report was never suppose to be in The Lion King, but 2 of the movies ,that Alan Menken did music for - Aladdin and BATB - did have song that were cut at the last minute from the film. Alan Menken is someone who is very passionate about his work, and therefore over saw Human Again, to it's completion and would probably do the same thing for Aladdin, and therefore, I would predict that whatever new song that was added to Aladdin would be good.

I personally don't care for Tim Rice or Elton John, and don't really think they put as much thought or care into adding Morning Report.

Either way, Mourning Report was never meant to be in the film. while a song that is added to Aladdin might have been, and even if the song that (may) get added is from the Clafornia stage show, I have faith that Alan Menken will do a great jod with it!

Calm down, boy.
Tim Rice and Elton John DID compose the song for the Broadway play, and I'm sure they put care and thought into the songs added there. However, I agree that the song is unnecessary in the film. But it doesn't mean it isn't a great song (which it is).
There. :)

Those Mulan II pics look great! Shang is the only one who looks DTV quality.
Since they're preparing for a wedding, I hope we get a nice proposal scene in it.
Mulan's wedding should be beautiful-her dressed in a long white gown, those pick flowers fluttering in the breeze, and then her and Shang riding off into the sunset on Kahn's back...

Didn't we get the proposal in the original Mulan?

In the preview that I saw on the TLK1.5 demo tape, Shane proposes to Mulan, but it is in the distance. The Grand mother says the Ancestors have told her Shane is proposing and then, behind her in the distance, you see Mulan jump up and hug Shang, and then she says Mulan said yes.... :)

Oh - Joe, sorry if I over reacted  , Someone else said something about Alan Menken not doing the music for the Lion King, and I guess I thought you guys were accussing me of saying or thinking something that I didn't. Anyway it's all cool.

Oh, and Jack, I like the "Morning Report" alright, but I know a lot of people that hate it, and they all like "Human Again"...

I don't expect Mulan II to be as good as the first one, in fact I predict it will be the worse of the three movies, but I am still looking forward to seeing it, and hope it is atleast good :) .

Hey, Cherny, I've known Universo Disney for quite some time! Great forum, lots of people there! I've never participated, though... You see, my Spanish is not as good as I'd like it to be. By now, I can only speak "portuñol"!

No problem, Prince Philip! I never acused you of saying something you didn't... Maybe I didn't read your message very well and I though you confused The Lion King's composers. No problems at that... Hakuna Matata!

I wish we'd get a close-up proposal scene for Mulan II-I don't think a Disney Animated Feature has ever had one of those.

All the marriages are either pre-arranged or pre-destined.
