Well I'm sure Marky would be happy with that. There wouldn't be any of that meddling from the DVD people who use Microsoft Paint to recolour everything!Wondy wrote:Heck, why don't we people them release them on 16mm and 35mm for all those who have their own projection reels.
Betamax? I'm still waiting for it to arrive on Capacitance Electronic Disc.Flanger-Hanger wrote:I'm still waiting for my Batamax copy of The Rescuers.Escapay wrote:Re-re-release all three on VHS & Laserdisc for old time's sake please and thank you!

How dare you mock my Batamax! I suppose you don't like Lazerdisk and 35 Malimater projectors either!Escapay wrote:What is this BAtamax you speak of?

I bet Albert doesn't like DADs or Bla-rays either...Flanger-Hanger wrote:How dare you mock my Batamax! I suppose you don't like Lazerdisk and 35 Malimater projectors either!
Maybe they should release versions completely done in MS Paint for those of us that don't feel satisfied with the restorations. Yay pixels!Escapay wrote:Well I'm sure Marky would be happy with that. Well, hell, it's Disney. They could release it tomorrow and call it a 15th anniversary edition... they have a strange sense of time there, as is evidenced by past releases.toonaspie wrote:We might get lucky though. They could release" Hunchback of Notre Dame" as early as 2011 if they wanna do a 15th Anniversary Edition.

That's because I prefer DBDs and Blu-roys.Brenders wrote:I bet Albert doesn't like DADs or Bla-rays either...Wire Hanger wrote:How dare you mock my Batamax! I suppose you don't like Lazerdisk and 35 Malimater projectors either!

Isn't it fun hijacking a thread with (potentially) good news about Disney DVDs?Julian Carter wrote:All the posts on this page are so funny!I'm having a blast!
I prefer BVDs, myself. They give me good support without being too constricting, though the color selection is limited. That's because I prefer DBDs and Blu-roys.
You should really get on that. We can have sashes and hats. I am in need of some ego stroking. Also, batteries.GrandMasterScaps wrote:This is why we need a SpringHeelJack Fan Club

Oh, right . . . we can't be happy about anything unless there's something to complain about.Escapay wrote:But then what will we complain about? It's not as garishly bright as it should have been? There's too much detail that should've been lost and turned into a simple flat surface of colour?
Those damn Cajun stereotypes!!!SpringHeelJack wrote:Also, "The Rescuers" is racist.
