I really like this artwork.
MUCH better than the DVD release... Which I hate.
It would be nice if they added Boo's shadow on this one though.

So you guys predict they pushed Monsters Inc's date back to be simultaneous with Up's DVD release? That would sorta make the theory about consumers not shelling out for both movies incorrect.

'Monster's Inc.' has been delayed until November, likely to coincide with the Blu-ray release of 'Up'.

A little better than the Monsters' trailer, but not much. Also, I look forward to seeing this trailer in HD on some future Bl-ray Disc.

I love the trailer and I can't wait to have my favorite Pixar film on Blu-Ray. I watched Cars on Blu-Ray the other day with the Car Finder feature and I found myself appreciating the resolution a lot more. The first time I watched it in HD, I did the CineExplore and when you watch it like that, so much of the image is covered that I don't think you really get the full impact of the high definition image.

Well, that's not nearly as bad as the SB cine-explore feature. I felt like I was being bombarded with images.

I'm not complaining about CineExplore. Its usually my favorite Blu-Ray exclusive feature. I was just pointing out the fact that if you want the HD experience, its best without it.

That's why you can also choose to just play the commentary on all Cine-Explore features.

Although I must say, I preferred Universal's HD DVD U-Control solution to PiP where the main image shrunk so there was little overlap between the main feature and the PiP. Apparently while its possible to resize the main image with Blu-ray, its not possible to do so if decoding separate video streams (which is why Universal's U-Control Blu-rays don't do this, despite having a bigger PiP window).

However, with Blu-ray you can theoretically have 2 full 1080p HD video streams encoded and switch between them at will. I'm still waiting for this to be implemented on an animated title, so you can choose to view the final animation in the main window with a smaller storyboard window, or reverse them at will.

U=control often has too much coming up at once as well. You can't choose more than one item at a time.

And I enjoy Cine-explore in general(especially CARS and Ratatouille's), sometimes these features are hard to enjoy properly when they aren't organized like other pip features, which only have one window at a time.

Does anyone know if the free movie ticket incentive to see Up is attached to the OUTSIDE of the packaging or is included on the inside?

I have pre-ordered from Amazon.com, but if the little sticker is on the outside I might cancel and buy at an actual store.

THANKS!

I found this at blu-ray.com(becomingwater), it appears that it will be an insert inside the case.
