I got them all. However, I skipped Spin and Marty and El Felco Baga or whatever it was called and then acquired them when the line was originally cancelled. Havent watched either yet though.

The "Spin and Marty" and "Hardy Boys" sets are complete stories. Sure, The Mickey Mouse Club had two additional "Spin" serials and one more "Hardy Boys" story, but each one stands alone with their own numerous episodes.
I realize that, but I didn't want to get sucked into Zorro Season 1 or Gummi Bears Vol 1 black holes and then they just don't get released. Granted SaM and HB sets are more "complete" than ElFB or SF probably, but it just bugs me that we're strung out not knowing or expecting to get the full series. At least with MMLC or CD we knew that this was Vol 1 etc of the series. We didn't get that kind of assurance with the others.
I'm probably cutting off my own nose to spite my face and missing out on some enjoyable TV. The worst thought is that I am probably setting up a self-fulfilling prophesy in that they won't release more becuase the series didn't sell well which I could help prevent if I bought it.

There is only Tomorrowland that I want to buy eventually. I'm not interested by the others.
I don't have any of the Wave 8 right now, but I'm going to the shopping center this afternoon (or tomorrow) to get The Chronological Donald 4. I'm not sure yet if I want to get the two others.
WOW!
Davy Crockett, Tomorrowland, and On the Front Lines are probably three of my 23 volumes that get the most repeat play. It's really interesting to see what other people enjoy.

I only have:
Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 1 - R2
Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2 - R2
The Chronological Donald Volume 1 - R2
The Chronological Donald Volume 2 - R1
The Chronological Donald Volume 3 - R1
... and Vol. 4 is on the way.
I'd like to add both Pluto volumes, B&W Mickey Mouse sets and the now-incomplete Complete Goofy one to my collection, though the prices for some of these are insane.
I find other sets interesting as well, but I'm too young and born on the wrong side of the planet to have any nostalgic feeling for them. Therefore, they don't make it high on my DVD wishlist.

Behind The Scenes At The Walt Disney Studios
Mickey Mouse In Living Color, Vol 2
Tomorrowland
The Chronological Donald, Vol 2
Disney Rarities
Your Host, Walt Disney
Disneyland: Secrets, Stories, & Magic
The Chronological Donald, Vol 3

And arriving later today:
Dr Syn: The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh

I do not own many treasures, as I just began collecting them late last year.
I'm missing all but:
On the Front Lines
The Chronological Donald, Volume One
Disneyland: Secrets, Stories, and Magic
Hopefully I'll get most of the titles I'm missing soon.

The only title I'm realy intent on getting is the Davy Crockett title, because it reminds me of my late grandfather. He used to sing the theme song all the time. It's the only song anyone ever heard him sing:)

I just ordered all but one of the Treasures that I am missing, and I got the other 2 WD Legacy titles, too...
Disney Movie Club had a buy 1 at full price, get as many as you want for 50% off sale.
The only one I'm missing now is Your Host Walt Disney.

I completed my quest for treasures yesterday. I now own every treasure that I really want to. I am missing a lot though. So I don't have:
Wave 1:
Davy Crockett and Silly Symphonies
Wave 3:
The Chronological Donald
Wave 4:
The Mickey Mouse Club
Wave 5:
I don't own any wave 5 treasures
Wave 6:
More Silly Symphonies and The Hardy Boys
Wave 7:
The Chronological Donald, Volume Three
Wave 8:
The Chronological Donald, Volume Four and Annette
So my reasoning behind this was that all the live action stuff I skipped really didn't interest me. I wasn't born in the 50s so I didn't really grow up with the Mickey Mouse Club or Davy Crockett. Although I have found a fondness for the Walt hosted television episodes and bought Dr. Syn for my dad for Christmas. As for the Donald and other shorts I skipped them because I felt that 8 treasures filled with animated shorts is enough (1 Goofy, 1 Oswald, 4 Mickey and 2 Pluto). Also because I have trouble understanding Donald. Overall I'm really happy with my treasures collection and that all of them are complete with there tins.

Today I was researching some other Treasures that I want, and I want to get "Your Host, Walt Disney", "Tomorrowland", "Mickey Mouse Club" (all of which are in print), and "Disneyland, USA" (which I guess isn't in print, but Disney Movie Club has it right now, but unfortunately I'm saving my money for Bobby's birthday, and I've budgeted my money for a few months [meaning I have a list of things I'll want to buy when they come out...] so I can't get it right now, and I hope that when I have extra money, the DMC will still have it...).

I don't have and I really want Mickey Mouse in Living Color (both volumes), Mickey Mouse in Black and White (vol. 1), Silly Symphonies, and The Complete Goofy. None of which I see myself getting anytime soon. (Not going to buy those ones online).
I am missing some other ones from the earlier waves but I own most everything else.

I only own the following, because they are the only one released in my country:
Mickey Mouse in Living Color -Vol. 1 & 2
The Chronological Donald- Vol. 1
Silly Symphonies
I would very much like to own the following, but I don't, because shipping costs are too high and payment requires a credit card, which I don't own:
The Chronological Donald- Vol. 2, 3 & 4
The Complete Goofy
The Complete Pluto- Vol. 1 & 2
More Silly Symphonies
Disney Rarities: Celebrated Shorts
On the frontline
Behind the scenes at the Walt Disney Studios
I'm in doubt whether I would want to buy Mickey Mouse in Black and White and Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit. Of course, as a lover of classic animation, I would have to own them. But, I don't really like them. All of the black and white Mouses are on YouTube and truth to be told: most of them are not good at all. They get better after late 1932, but it's a pain to sit through the ones preceding them. They're repetitive, formulaic and nothing much happens.
I wouldn't buy things like Mickey Mouse Club, Hardy Boys etc. I don't know them, have never seen them, nor do I wish to. Just the classic shorts, please.

I've got a multi-region dvd player now and I've ordered "More silly Symphonies"! Cannot wait to see it.
Anyone has an idea why titles like this are only avaialble in region 1?

They're not. A couple were released in R2 as well (Benelux and Austria are the ones I know, probably other countries too). The market for these kind of titles is small, too small for the European market. The US is a big market, and there's a lot of import from other countries going on as well, so they will profit from this more easily.

I know that there are 4 titles of Disney treasures available in R2! I have them. What I mean with "titles like this" are the rest of them like "Disney rarities" and "On the Frontline".
If the market in Europe is so small why did they put those four titles (Mickey Mouse in living colors volume 1/2, Donald Duck volume 1, Silly Symphonies) there in the first place? I presume because Disney thought Europeans are interested in them. So if Europeans would want to buy "Silly Symphonies" why wouldn't they be interested in "More Silly Symphonies" or like to add "Donald Duck volume 2" to DD volume 1 for instance? I don't see any good reason why they wouldn't add more titles to these; for even a small market is more profitable than no market at all.
But I guess I don't understand the market-mechanism.
