OMG, lol.
According to this, Mary Poppins (or at least her doll) is a Princess:

And apparently she's at the Princess Breakfast at WDW:

akhenaten, are you dissatisfied with the real "Step in Time" number? I do enjoy it, but maybe the penguins would make it more fun...the penguins are enjoyable.

Yes I agree she's a princess and a heroine too.
Unlike Aurora. Aurora is only a princess.

She will replace the other Aurora, the not Hispanic one.

Mary Poppins fits perfectly into the princess line. Afterall we can assume that she is of royal birth and has such a good soul that she flies away to far away lands to deal with bratty children. The umbrella is obviously a gift from the old crafty whimsical and yet awefully clumbsy magician in the kingdom to guarantee safe travel. Then at the end of the film she is simply flying away to her kingdom in the sky, right next door to Snow White.
It makes almost as much sense as Alice being royalty off on a summer lesson, or Mulan being married to a general which obviously equals princess, or Giselle since she married a prince...

I really do hope that sprince doesn't get too mad at us, we really are making more fun at the whole "what is and isn't a princess" stuff. I feel like that should be clarified.

Lasseter Eats Food, Adds Princesses
After the staggering announcement of several new additions to the renowned and Nobel Prize-winning Disney Princess line, including nanny Mary Poppins, nightgown-wearing Wendy Darling, and fruit-wearing Aurora Miranda, several key members of the press grilled John Lasseter on the status of the Princess franchise over dinner at an exclusive Los Angeles restaurant.
"We're very excited," he said, in between bites of veal. "Since Disney's acquisition of the Muppets, we're also looking into seeing if Miss Piggy can't be legally added to the line. Also, we have some guys at Imagineering seeing what can done in the way of turning Madam Mim into a Princess somehow. A witch is almost a princess, right?"
Upon being asked about the status of the highly-hyped Princess Giselle from the hit movie "Enchanted", Lasseter was quick to clear the matter up. "No, no, Princess Giselle is not really a princess," he mumbled, wiping his mouth with a twenty-dollar bill. "We're not sure how that confusion got started. However, I can tell you we are additionally looking into making Lindsay Lohan's character in 'Mean Girls' a Princess. I mean, Lindsay was in 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' then 'Mean Girls', so it's like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, right? Nice and legal."
When informed by a reporter that the law does not work the way he thinks it does, Lasseter promptly killed and consumed the reporter just to prove a point.

Sigh. That is so disappointing. In an age where they can release Space Buddies on Blu-ray! At this point, I expect every new release from Disney to be accompanied with a Blu-ray counterpart. It doesn't make sense for me to buy a standard DVD now that I've upgraded to Blu-ray. They are trying to upset me. I refuse to buy this release, and that is a statement rarely heard from myself. I look forward to ALL the Disney releases. Someone please tell me I'm doing the right thing.

I definitely think that you're doing the right thing. If you have a Blu-ray player and mostly (if not exclusively) buy Blu-ray discs now, then why would you purchase this new release in a format that you don't want? Especially if you already have the older release and aren't a die-hard fan of the Broadway show, then I don't see why you would buy it.

Yet another Princess!
Shortly after the announcement that several disney heroines from the vault were going to be added to the renowned and world-famous Disney Princess line, such as Mary Poppins, Wendy Darling, Miss Piggy and the witch Madam Mim, Disney revealed the newest Disney princess. We met John Lasseter (from Disney) and asked him who she was.
"We're very happy," John Lasseter said, when we met him at a restaurant. "To announce the new and classic Disney addition: Princess Hannah (Also known as Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus)! I... I mean: The people at Disney figured out that, since Disney princess, and Hannah Montana are our most succesful products, Why not combine them into one: Princess hannah!"
Upon being asked how they were going to promote ''Princess Hannah'', Mr. Lasseter informed us about the new Hannah Montana series: ''Princess Hannah Montana''. Shooting will start next week.
Also in stores next week is the new Miley Cyrus CD, Rich stupid Kid , including the new title song for ''Princess Hannah Montana'' called: The best of disney princess world.
