But seriously, we're making a big deal with issues that shouldn't even be a problem to the next person. Why should I care if someone thinks BR isn't worth the extra money?
Their opinion is more than respectable. We all agree that Blu-Ray has better quality, if one choses to introduce it to their homes despite the pricey tag should be only that person's issue.

That must be in the really really really minority. Hell I never even heard of this one. Everyone knows about console wars, and the Trekies vs Star Wars.

Same here...never heard of that war either. If its teenie boppers, then that is probably why. Could give a rat's behind about that "music".
BTW, Star Wars is better.

Also I am glad that one forum member found my first reply to this thread hysterical
btw how did this turn into a UD VS BRD FOURMS from a Mac VS PC to a Miley VS Selena and finally a Star Wars VS Star Trek Thread??..
Oh wait I remember..this is the UD/DVDIZZY forums...where gravity does not rule and the real world rules do not exist..and anything goes....except from the site's forum code of conduct set up by Master Luke..a long long time ago...in an online galaxy far far away in a prototype data base known as slower than 56K Dial Up

And "Star Trek" is infinitely better than "Star Wars", although "Doctor Who" is miles ahead of both of them.
Regarding the Blu-Ray argument, I don't let it bother me because I'll upgrade when I want to, I don't need any incentive or insult from a Blu-Ray enthusiast to make me buy it sooner rather than later. After all, Blu-Ray will still be here a year/two years/etc. from now, it won't be that big a crime for me to deprive myself of high-definition audio/visual presentation until then. I managed quite well with VHS (and still use it to this day) during DVD's first 5 years. Especially when I'm more concerned for extras than a/v since it's pretty much a given that Blu-Ray will already look better.

Gasp! Star Wars is better, n00b! How dare you have your own reasons for liking things that don't mesh with my own!
...seriously, I freakin' love "Star Wars". I think it's my longest running obsession. And the one I've spent the most money on.

I never liked the feel of boxers. It's like that awkward middle ground between being dressed or being naked.

Woot, random thread hijacking! (Though I suppose it's hard to make an off-topic topic any more off-topic.)
PC
Pepsi... I hate cola but for Mountain Dew, I give the vote to Pepsi!
Pencil
Dog
Briefs
Waffles... but only when they're Belgian waffles

I don't... drink coffee
Pixar (Though hey, Pixar IS Disney, so that's kinda a stupid question)
And also:
Star Wars (but none of that restored special edition crap!)
Combine them and call it Poke
Add a ´ and it'd be copyright infringement! *runs away* (Sorry, I just had to say that since I'm a huge Pokémon fan)

drf wrote:I don't... drink coffee
"Shaken or Stirred" refers to certain alcoholic drinks, not coffee (shaken coffee does seem rather dangerous). For example, James Bond likes his martinis shaken, not stirred.

I like pie.
P.S. this thread made me realize how unopinionated I am because I either don't have a preferance, like both combined, or I don't like either of the things mention before.
examples:
I like both Star Trek and Star Wars
I wear Boxerbriefs
I don't like Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez
