Well, you're avatar inspired me for the first segment on my second list:

- The entire sequence in The Princess and the Frog where Dr. Facilier is talking and singing to Prince Naveen and Lawrence. There's a lot I don't like about that movie, but Keith David as Facilier is one part of it that is pure and utter brilliance, fitting with the best of Walt's films.

- Bob Dylan lecturing a 'Time Magazine'-reporter in the fly-on-the-wall documentary Don't Look Back (1966). The poor chap just wanted to write an article, but a philosophical Dylan questions his authority (he knows nothing about Bob's music) and the authority of magazines like 'Time': do they really show us the truth about the world, or is it a sanitized fragment of reality?

- Every second of Forest Whitaker's performance in The Last King of Scotland, for which he got a richly deserved Oscar for Best Actor. I swear that's not him in the movie; that's the real Idi Amin!

- The surprise ending of Die fette Jahre sind vorbei (The Edukators). Through clever editing, we are led to believe just the opposite of what's going on, and I was both shocked and relieved for the characters that I had come to love so much. It also introduced me to Jeff Buckley's version of 'Hallelujah', one of the most beautiful songs of all time.

- The bittersweet moment in Io non ho paura (I'm not scared) when the little boy Michele (played by an adorably cute kid) is riding through the south Italian grain fields with his new friend Filippo. This is shot so magnificently, it makes you feel like you're there with them in this beautoful surrounding.

- When Gina (gorgeous Kelly Macdonald) slips unexpectedly in the same bed as Lawrence (Bill Nighy), and what happens next in The Girl in the Café. Just too sweet for words.

- Sun-wha secretly kissing Tae-suk, while embracing her husband and whispering "I love you", deceiving her husband into believing that was meant for him. How this could possibly work, you can see in Bin-Jip (3 Iron). One of the most inventive scenes I've ever seen.

Looks like a good list so far. Some fairly obvious choices, but most obvious choices are such for a reason. "Baby Mine" is one of the two times I came closest to crying in a movie (the other being the ending of City Lights), so I particularly approve of its ranking here.

I wonder if you're going to add any scenes from "Red Hot Riding Hood" or "Duck Amuck", my two personal favorite cartoons. Seeing that you're adding shorts in here, it seems possible that you would add some more.

Another scene I'd like to make it in your list would be this.

I love that scene, too, but I thought "Blame Canada" was the best scene and song from the movie. Hopefully, it'll make it on your list eventually (if it hasn't already, and I missed it).

Dr. Frankenollie, while I haven't seen a large number of your moments listed I do think that you put together a really good list. I agree with quite a few of the ones you've listed there and was surprised to see the various Fantasia moments on there.

Some moments you listed, such as the Exorcism, Psycho, the Birds and Citizen Kane moments I do recognize because of how talked about they are and hope to one day see those for myself.
