That makes no sense to me- a lot of full-time college students don't work to focus on school- I stopped working in my sophomore year to focus on school, so I know how that is...I love Disney, too, but I have mixed feelings sometimes...like when I went to Casting in the spring and they wanted me to "come back when you have a steady job for 6 months to a year"...I guess it's a little similar to the CP thing you mentioned, but, anyhoo, it made me cry, and made me upset with Disney for not hiring me.
That's the thing that annoyed me. College Program applicants *don't* need to have a full-time job. People who apply for the College Program need to be either a full-time student (which I was), or a part-time student with a steady job for 6 months to a year. In addition, any previously-terminated rehires must have had a steady job for 6 months to a year, but not if they're a full-time student. I was aware of all of this when I re-applied, and even asked the interviewer about it to confirm it all. She assured me that because I was a full-time student, the "no job" part wouldn't need to be considered in my re-hiring. So I was totally surprised when I got the rejection letter, and why when I called they said it's because I didn't have a job. Apparently somewhere down the line, my re-hire application (even though it was for the College Program) was considered as only a re-hire application and not as a CP application as well. So someone decided that since I didn't meet the "had a job for 6 months" requirement, that I couldn't be accepted into the college program again. Then, when it made the rounds back to the CP offices, they saw it was a rejection and sent it to me without double-checking why.

That's why I'd often forego lunch (being a stocker made munching on the job easy) and just spend time in the Learning Center.

Ah, my mistake.

Aw.

You must go back! And get Earl of Sandwich! And go to Virgin Megastore!
