Actually, "The Deprated" was my mom's favorite movie last year, but I still highly doubt I can see it.

You guys should really get cable , most of the movies you've mentioned get aired at least 5 or 6 times each year.At least where I'm from !

Yes and YES!BelleGirl wrote:Anyone seen The Nun's story and Roman Holiday yet? (two Audry Hepburn classics).
And I get the same whenever someone claims they have never heard of "The Sword and the Rose"Escapay wrote:Whenever I find out someone hasn't seen The Rocketeer, I get all fanboyish and go "Then you're not a real Disney fan!".

I agree with both those statements. How could people not know about these films?ichabod wrote:And I get the same whenever someone claims they have never heard of "The Sword and the Rose"Escapay wrote:Whenever I find out someone hasn't seen The Rocketeer, I get all fanboyish and go "Then you're not a real Disney fan!".![]()
Stupid bloody princess loving... grr... *rant*... grr...*moan*....*grumble*
Well ... some people (like me) know of the films but haven't yet seen them. And my copy of The Rocketeer is sitting on my shelf collecting dust.Flanger-Hanger wrote:I agree with both those statements. How could people not know about these films?
I'd agree with you about the films such as Pink Panther Films, Naked Gun Trilogy, Rocky, and the rest you listed. Even though, from your list, I've seen:Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:Eh....not really.Escapay wrote: If it were any other actor besides Leo, and if it wasn't as shockingly successful as it was, would you consider giving it a chance?
All Titanic is is a chick flick with costly sets. The fact it's over three hours long also adds to the pain.
I'm mildly interested in Titanic itself and can recommend some good documentaries on it(including Disney's Ghost of the Abyss) but I'm certainly not interested on a boring 3 hour-romance just to wait until the boat sinks and Leo die. In fact, the only reason I have any interest in it is because of it's success.
I'm just flabbergasted at this forum, another reminder as to why I've let. You guys REALLY need to brush up on your classics. You do know film didn't start in 2002 and that the first film wasn't The Little Mermaid right? I mean, I can understand not seeing Gone With The Wind or Citizen Kane, but anyone who hasn't seen any Star Wars OR Indiana Jones films yet doesn't legally deserve to be called human.
PPF- Here are some films I doubt you've seen based on your list that you should try checking out with your friends along with the ones you listed during the summer:
High Noon
The Searchers
12 Angry Men
To Kill A Mockingbird
Dr. No
Goldfinger
The Pink Panther films(the brilliant Peter Sellers franchise, not the just plain average one with Steve Martin)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
American Graffiti
Jaws(might be R, but one of the tamest R rated films around that should be fine)
Rocky
The Naked Gun Trilogy
Back To The Future
BeetleJuice
Who Framed Roger Rabbit(it's technically Disney, PLEASE tell me you've seen this)
Groundhog Day
Jurassic Park
Ed Wood(R, but I'm sure you've heard the F word in your lifetime)
Forrest Gump
Men In Black
Shanghai Noon
Chicken Run
Catch Me If You Can
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Casino Royale
You think it's to scary? I've seen it once many years agy and I thought it was quite sad and depressing but not really scary. Or are you worried it's to sad?mooky_7_sa wrote:

Yeah, that's the reason. I get very emotional when it comes to animals' deaths. And I'm in this crazy phase when anything can get me to the verge of tears so I'm just going to watch it sometimes in the future because I don't wanna be depressed for weeksBelleGirl wrote:You think it's to scary? My list out of the IMDb Top 250 I've never seen:Escapay wrote:Borrowing from Dottie, I took a gander at the imdb Top 250 list (which really isn't the best source, but it'll do for now) and I won't include the foreign films I haven't seen (mainly because I'm *really* behind on forum films compared to American ones), so here's a list of films I haven't seen:
62 films out of 250 I have yet to see. Not too shabby.
