OMG! What's up with this cover? It's totally WRONG! The charaters are completely off model... It's so airbrushed it almost looks like CGI animation... and WHAT'S UP WITH THE LOGO?? It looks like a logo for World of Warcraft or something... TOTALLY wrong... and very untrue to the movie...

As for the movie... If Fox and the Hound and The Aristocats deserve new discs, The Sword and the Stone does as well. As a kid, it was always one of my favorite movies. As an adult... Some of the songs are off, the squirrel sequence does nothing for me, and, well, is it me, or is Arthur's constant stream of "woah wu-wu woe-ooh a-oh woe!" really annoying? He does it once every 4 minutes. See for yourself, it's true. This is only corrected when he's turned into a bird.

Wow,the new cover is horrible it looks a video tape from 20 years ago .

Ha! Your so right! It may have been just used allot to save money. But I think it's a good running gag. That and Wart's voice changing every four lines.

I never really noticed his voice changing until I watched it again back in 2005.

Maybe this DVD should have a featurette called The Many Voices of Wart

Actually, on second thought, it would be kind of cool if Belle were a fan of, say, "The Black Cauldron". That'd be a great cross-promotion for an unloved Disney film. And maybe in "Bolt", the titular dog and his misfit friends can all enjoy quality ABC programming when in Hollywood, and maybe even stop for a day out at Disney's California Adventure to boost sagging sales.

Because he just does it's his favorite movie to watch (he has a VHS which apparently still works 700 years from now and has the same picture quality as my current DVD copy.) That movie and the junk he finds while cleaning up are the only things he knows about humans. Why Pixar chose this movie I don't know but hopefully they will explain on the DVD. My theory is that it is an over-the-top musical that despite having no fantasy elements is still hugely unrealistic and still is a well known movie today so the audience would get the joke.

i have this belief that all disney animated features should be pure of outside elements..heck even the inclusion of elvis songs in lilo irks me..but if hello dolly is the last remanining motion picture evidence on eath..i pity mankind.


as for the new cover...its sad disney is resorting to the current fad of king arthur and harry potter for the poster approach..but even back then alice had a psychedellic theme for the 60s flower power demograph

Remember, that's NOT the final cover, this happens with almost every new release: it's just a draft.

yeap i do realize that..but usually the final cover is 10% correction.if only theyd show us the draft for pocahontas dvd cover..the pocahontas PE (teeheehee) is the mother of all bad covers.
