For any new releases that I'm 100% sure I want, I always get them at the Movie Stop near my house. This is because if you reserve them ahead of time they will beat the lowest advertised price of any major retailer. Sure it's only by a few cents but hey, cents add up.
For any old releases or OOP titles I usually get them from Amazon.com.

I buy my DVDs at many places.
Usually, it is Future Shop or Amazon for brand new dvds.
If I'm looking for something used, I usually buy on ebay.

mainly target, best buy, and walmart. It just depends which retailer has the lowest price when the dvd is released.

Walmart and sometimes Bull Moose Music (a music store which also sells games and movies). I like Bull Moose because they have a larger selection and if you want to play less you can get it used.

I go to different places for DVDs for different reasons,
Best Buy - for new releases and DVDs that are on sale for a good price (which usually they are)
Target - either new releases or good sale prices
Circuit City - I very rarely go anymore. They are SO unorganized it's frustrating. Unless they have a really good sale (I got seasons 5 and 6 of King Of Queens for $15.99 and The Game Plan for $9.99 a few weeks ago), I hardly go.
FYE - sometimes for new releases, sometimes for titles I can't find in Best Buy or Target. Usually I go to get CDs and DVDs used (their prices aren't that bad used).

Yeah... Circuit City isn't cutting it anymore. Sure, they have the new releases, but their back catalog leaves a lot to be desired. I don't think there is a Circuit City in town (OKC) that has more than 10 anime titles, if that!
Plus, I get my Reward Zone at Best Buy, so that helps (I think I'm over $250 back now!!)
Circuit City does have a decent game selection, and they are much easier about throwing games on clearance for fire-sale prices.

Target and Best Buy for the most part. But if I'm looking for a more obscure title, I'll usually refer to Borders or Amazon.

I used to go to Wal-Mart for majority of my dvds but since they rarely have good prices on new releases I go to Target mostly and Best-Buy to check what they have.

Usually Suncoast, Borders or Best Buy.
For a harder to find DVD (gay themed titles, for example) I use the catalogues Movies Unlimited, TLA, or Critic's Choice.

I know, they used to have a good selection of older titles, but it seems like ever since Best Buy opened very close by, they went downhill fast. PLUS, they raised their prices on DVDs! Regular movies that are being released are now $21.99 as opposed to the original $19.99. Sometimes their TV-DVD prices aren't bad though.

I usually just go to Best Buy when I'm looking for a movie. I sometimes get them at Wal-Mart when I see one in the 5-Dollar Bin or on their 10-Dollar shelf. I never go to Circuit City anymore. They have no sense of organization. One movie might be at the front on the shelf, but there are always a bunch of different titles behind it, so you have to dig through everything to see what's really there.
