That's great to know... thanks! I live in the middle of nowhere... Well at least in comparison to where I grew up, so I sometimes can't find everything... but good to know... Thanks a lot!

One Request For MIRAMAX:

An UNCUT version of PROJECT A with the original soundtrack. My favorite Jackie Chan movie and they cut the blooper reel. What a POS.

I would like to see the 90 minute versions of Disney's Halloween Treat and A Disney Channel Christmas on DVD as part of a holiday package.

Song of the South - obvious choice, but I think with the right amount of respect and care taken, any "trouble" could be avoided.

Darby O'Gill and the Little People - it was a labour of love for Walt, and I think it deserves a decent DVD treatment (as a Vault or 2-disc SE or the like)

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth - needs ot be given a wider release. Frank & Ollie seemed to do well as a wider release, so why not Walt?

Episodic TV - House of Mouse, Rescue Rangers, Chip N Dale, Gummi Bears, Goof Troop etc. I really think it is about time these came out as BOX SETS.

and most importantly...

The Triangle of Health as part of an Education set. The Disney equivalent of 'Fuzzy Bunny's Guide to You-Know-What'.
That was me almost two years ago (on December 31, 2003 no less)!

In that time Darby O'Gill, Walt: The Man etc and two of the 'episodic TV' boxes have been released.

That only leaves me with two Holy Grails: Song of the South and The Triangle of Health Sex Ed episode. Long term UDers will remember I was obsessed with finding this title a few years ago, and that obsession hasn't dissipated - it has only been obscured by a few new obsessions (including Disney Parks).

I should also remind everyone that Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp has had an international release, but it was a store (Target) exclusive here too.

There aren't that many movies/material still left in the vault to put out, so here are the ones that I can think of...

Song of the South
I know everybody has listed this, but it does need a release. It is highly rumoured, so there's no need to be too scared, but if the rumour isn't true, Disney is officially crap due to its poopy executives.

Make Mine Music
I know that it is technically available, though its vastly different to what it should be, as a whole section has been removed! If the change was minor, then I wouldn't list it. However, the change is so big, then I have to comment on it.

Various TV shows
Possibly from public demand and the success (well, they're coming out in good amounts) of Warner churning out Hanna Barbera material, such Disney Afternoon shows are coming out (we've had one volume each of DuckTales and Chip and Dale and a few Gargoyles DVDs), yet there are some that should take priority, such as more volumes of the previously mentioned shows, as well as box sets for The Little Mermaid, House of Mouse/Mickey Mouse Works, Darkwing Duck and Tale Spin. Gummi Bears, Adventures in Wonderland and Dinosaurs would also be nice.

More Silly Symphonies
There are a number of these merry little things that are left in the vault. A second Walt Disney Treasure set devoted to these ditties needs to come out in the next wave.

Oh, and So Dear To My Heart has been released on DVD in Region 2 if you'd like to know...

Where's The Long, Long Trailer? Hopefully MGM will release it when I Love Lucy: Season Six comes out. :)

I agree with the person who said Mr Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy. I taped those movies a LONG time ago.......cute and not tooooo scary.

I know there are a lot of movies I probably could think of, but they aren't coming to mind right now.

Well this is a "Disney Movies that Desperately Need to be Put Out" thread, and Long Long Trailer is MGM. :P

I also wouldn't mind seeing the first Lucy/Desi movie, Too Many Girls. They met on this movie, I think, and it's more an ensemble movie than focusing on Lucy/Desi. It's a lot of fluff, but very fun and entertaining movie. IIRC, Lucy plays the daughter of a rich man and she goes to his old alma mater, a college in Arizona or New Mexico where it's practically 65% girls and 35% guys. And Desi is part of a group of Ivy League guys "hired" buy Lucy's dad to watch over her at the college, essentially taking turns dating her (unbeknownst to her). Lucy falls in love with one of them, and he falls in love with her (it's not Desi, as he was more a supporting character), and eventually they get together (after, of course, everyone finds out that the guys were hired).

As for Disney movies, Song of the South of course. Also wouldn't mind an R1 release of Kidnapped, along with the Moochie movies...

I'd love to see the movies I watched as a kid. Earthstar Voyager and Brat Patrol being the top two. More recent Disney Channel movies would have to be Quints, the three Zenon movies, Pixel Perfect, Stuck In The Suburbs (I love Danielle Panabaker), Luck Of The Irish, Rip Girls, Tru Confessions, and T'was The Night.
