Ha, yeah, Mel B is still the only person I know of that can make those two cones on her head look good. Here's some more news-
Awhile back we posted pictures of Emma ‘Baby Spice‘ Bunton and Geri ‘Ginger Spice‘ Halliwell at a recording studio. In light of the reunion confirmation, it’s being speculated that Geri Halliwell is being added to the 1998 #1 hit single Goodbye which was about Geri’s departure from the Spice Girls. However, this time the single will be released as the last Spice Girls song together, a final goodbye song. Other rumors are circulating about Geri’s vocals being added to other songs recorded after she left, but the Goodbye story seems to be the most logical.

I hope they don't do that, cause it'd suck just to re-release an old single with Geri's in it too, I mean, we all want new stuff, give it to us! Even just one new song would do me fine.

Also the Aussie radio station NXFM has said the album they are releasing is set to be out around christmas...but they probabally wont tour cos Emma will have a baby, Geri has a toddler and Mel B has Eddie M's kid. They said it will have a few new songs but mostly their old hits.
Hmm, this is getting interesting. I myself wouldn't mind if they didn't tour, but a least one reunion concert and a greatest hits CD/DVD with some new material should be done. At least.

A rank, QR? Okay:

1. Mel C (when she was Sporty and not just a kinda sad girl dealing with an eating disorder) / Geri (when she went solo)

2. Geri (when she was in the group) / Emma (when she went solo)

3. Mel B

4. Emma (when she was in the group) / Mel C (solo)

5. Posh (especially married and a target of the paparazzi)

I've always prefered Scary and Ginger. To me Posh seemed useless. One thing however that always made me laugh was Sporty doing these pelvic thrusts? during Spice Up Your Life

Agreed. I guess that was because she was playing a character. To me, she almost seemed like a '90s update of a Robert Palmer video girl. She just stood there and looked partially-vacant. Which is all the more disturbing when you figure that since splitting up she became a huge target of the paparazzi.

Guess what guys. I am so excited, I can hardly put the quotes in, here they are-
The Spice Girls fuelled rumours of a reunion when their management company said overnight they will make an announcement on their future next week.

"Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on June 28," a statement from 19 Entertainment in London said.

"No further information can be given at this time but given the band's unique history, you can be sure to expect the unexpected! Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days."

Formed in 1994, the five-member Spice Girls enjoyed worldwide fame on the back of catchy pop tunes like 'Wannabe' and 'Spice Up Your Life' and aggressive "girl power" marketing.

But after two chart-topping albums, a string of best-selling singles and a foray into film, they split up in 2001, three years after Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell announced she was quitting to pursue a solo career.

There has been mounting speculation in recent weeks they will reform, record a new album and go on tour.
Friggin hell, that's so exciting! I love the Spice Girls, I can't wait for the announcement! But if there isn't a DVD, I'll be really pissed off. But I can't wait, I'm sure there will be. If Take That can release one, so can the Spice. Ah, I knew this was coming, I'm so relieved! Thursday will be a great day, I'm sure! And I finish school on Friday and have holidays for the next two weeks, so it will be a fantastic end to the term. :)
Oh, and in more Spice news, Eddie Murphy is the father of Mel Bs baby, which I predicted. Here's the quote-
A DNA test has confirmed actor-comedian Eddie Murphy is the father of the newborn daughter of Spice Girl singer Melanie Brown, People magazine reported, citing Brown's representative.

Brown, 32, gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown in April and listed Murphy as the father on the child's birth certificate, but the star of movies like Beverly Hills Cop and Dreamgirls has never publicly acknowledged paternity.

Earlier this month, media outlets reported that Murphy, 46, had taken a DNA test and Brown's representative, Liza Anderson, told People the results, confirming Murphy's paternity, were given to Brown.

Murphy's spokesman declined to comment.

Brown, who dated Murphy last (northern) summer, was Scary Spice in the 1990s all-girl British pop group that scored hit songs such as "Wannabe".

Members of the group have scheduled a news conference for next Thursday, sparking speculation that they will reunite for a tour and album.
Oh well, I knew it. Oh and apparently Mel C will have a new album this year. It'll be good marketing to release it alongside the reunion album and then market the other spices solo stuff with them. It'd also be good for the tour to have like all the group songs and then have each perform a little solo set of 1 or two songs. I can't wait for Thursday, it'll be so bloody great. Oh and love my avatar everyone? I love it, one of my fave clips.

You know back in the 90s I was THE biggest Spice Girls fan ever (seriously)! However to be honest I'm really not too bothered one way or the other about a reunion. A few years ago I would have killed for it to happen, but the mysteries of life have somehow managed to make me lose interest.

Ha yeah, I know that life is more important than some stupid Spice Girls reunion, but it's a nice break from reality, and the songs and fun and bubbly, and it's just nice to relive an easier time of life.

I'm in heaven guys, I have been waiting for this all day (yes my life is that sad) and it's even better that I have a job now, so now I have finally say that I will be able to buy my own ticket for not only this once in a lifetime Spice Girls tour for January, but the Hilary Duff tour this December. Check this out-
The re-formed pop girlband, the Spice Girls will announce a world tour starting in December at a media conference in London today.

Industry insiders said the Spice Girls' managers were talking to local promoters about a whirlwind Australian tour after concerts in Japan in January.

The five members – Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm – will reportedly get $20 million each for 25 shows.

The Spice Girls have not toured Australia, only visiting briefly for a promotion in 1998 to launch the movie Spice World.

A Spice Girls greatest hits album will hit stores at Christmas, a decade after the release of their debut single Wannabe.

A TV documentary following their re-formation will air in September.

Since the band's demise in 2001 only Sporty Spice, Melanie C, has managed to sustain a solo career.

The Spice Girls sold 53 million records globally, achieved nine UK No. 1 singles and made a fortune in merchandise in their heyday.
The world tour is as follows-
The Spice Girls will tour in 2007 and 2008.

LA 7th Dec Las Vagas 8th Dec New York 11th Dec London 15th Dec Koln 20th Dec Madrid 23rd Dec Beijing 10th Jan Hong Kong 12th Jan Sydney 17th Jan Cape Town 20th Jan
I cannot wait for this. And the album. And as I've said like a million times, there'd better be a DVD, otherwise I'll be pissed. Love the sound of that TV special too. I'm so happy! :D :) :D

I'm really excited they are doing a reunion tour, but I wish they were doing a few more dates in the U.S. It doesn't look like I'll be able to make any of the shows. Hopefully they will come up with some new material between now and then can drop a Greatest Hits CD.

I'm sure that they'll add more tours in. I mean they're so popular and the tickets will sell like hotcakes, so I'm sure they'll make more dates. Oh, and it sucks that you have to register to see them, and they'll pick you at random. Geez, that sucks big time. They have to change that.
And Simba3, the greatest hits album's gonna be released in December, as said in the quote I posted. Apparently they've completed two new tracks and that should be all the new ones they're doing, unfortunately. :( And there won't be a single either. Oh well, at least we get a tour, album and hopefully DVD. Oh, and there'll be a DVD of the tour if you can't go. The band also said that they were in talks to record new material and confirmed plans to make a documentary which will show their "gritty side", in December. Here's a piccie of them-

Well in the run up to this over the past few weeks/months when the speculation was going on, there were reports that the Girls had all been spotted visiting the recording studio seperately to lay down the vocals for a comeback track. Strange that new material has not been mentioned.
