i have 28..most of which r the animated classics..i know that it doesnt sound like a lot but, i refuse to buy 1 disk special editions when disney will prob. release them in a 2-disk later

You are not alone. I only buy 2-disc dvds since the single disc ones are not worth the money.

Tough break. You guys are missing out on some of Disney's solid single-disc releases: Dumbo: 60th Anniversary Edition, The Sword in the Stone: Gold Classic Collection, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 25th Anniversary/Friendship Edition, Treasure Planet, even the single-disc-when-there-is-a-two-disc-everywhere-else Lilo & Stitch to an extent.

Well, if i had the money i would buy all of those but since i don't, i have to choose what i buy more strictly. So, i'm satisfied with just renting the single disc releases.

I hope that is done right ... if it needs fixing let me know i use an online dvdprofiler to list my stuff ... thanks

Am I the only one impressed by filmfan's 1000 Disney dvds?!?

I consider my self a pretty big Disney collector but I top out at 87 Disney movies.

I can't imagine having over 400 like Reqyela or 1000 like filmfan, i didn't know Disney even had that many dvds available!!!

Can anyone top reqyela or filmfan? I think it would be hard even for a video store. I think my Blockbuster in North KC d be hardpressed to even have 1000 movie titles total let alone just 1000 Disney's.

I have 1300 DVDs (counting box sets as one,) or 1500 titles...

1500 titles!!

I can't imagine owning that many dvds. I try to buy a DVD every two weeks, if I'm lucky. Gotta feed the family first , I'd love to get my personal collection that big.

filmfan posted his pictures a while back, i think he had 4000 to 5000 DVDs, i can't remeber. Thats an insane amount of movies, I don't think i've even heard of 500 movies let alone 5000.

A. I don't have a decent digital camera...
B. I don't have room for them all, so they are packed in boxes, up in the top of my closet, stuffed in the linen closet, etc.

I've been collecting since early 2000, so it's not like I buy hundreds a month...

Also, a lot of them have been really good deals, or used...

And could you focus on the non-disney animated titles you have. I would like to see that.

I now have 33 Disney DVDs, following the purchase of The Curse of the Black Pearl last Saturday.

I have:

21 disney dvds (including pixar & live-action)

3 animated non-disney dvds

12 box sets

Total: only 36

I have them separated!! Disney 424 (including everything from animated, live action, Miramax, Buena Vista, Touchstone etc...) and 108 non Disney animated. Since there is no thread for non Disney collection I'll post a photo here:

With Dead Mans Chest in my collection, I now have 34 Disney DVDS altogether.

I added two more to my collection today.

I'm at 429 now!!!! Ohhh yeahhhh!!!!!
