When any former castmember references Disney on their resume, the only information Disney itself can give out is a Cast Member Performance Feedback form, where each criteria is marked by either "Clearly Outstanding", "Exceeds Expectations", "Meets Expectations", "Below Expectations", and "Unsatisfactory", and are often very general criteria like "Models the Disney values", "Promotes Teamwork", "Creates positive Guest experience", "Makes Guest-Focused decisions", "Attends work regularly", etc. I dont' have my own Cast Member Performance .....

The Tigger story will likely become famous, but the kid in the costume will remain unknown and it won't hurt any further job opportunities.

Wow, I was assuming because his full name has been used in the media and everyone has heard about this case that that is how he'd become famous, not from someone checking his performance record at Disney. But perhaps you are right and people will quickly forget his name. However he still has to report he was fired at his last job.

(I don't know if it is a state law but here in Calif. you can basically only get "name, rank and serial number" when calling on a reference. In other words, all that HR can verify is the dates of employment and how you employment ended - voluntary or involuntary. If they give out more, it is supposedly illegal but don't quote me on that.)

I was figuring because his name has gotten out into the public and the fact that he has to report he was fired on his subsequent job applications (even though Disney doesn't have to say why he was fired) would be enough to follow him around. It is very hard to overcome getting fired from a job when you go to apply for a new job - that is not to say you can't (you need to find a sympathetic new employer) but in general it is difficult.

Looks like justice has prevailed:
MousePlanet.com wrote:Tigger will not be charged

As expected, prosecutors from the State Attorney's office will not file charges against Michael Fedelem in the alleged "Tigger assault" on Jerry Monaco, Jr. back in January. In the incident – which was caught on video – 14-year-old Monaco was reportedly pulling down on the cowl around the performer's neck, which would have cut off Fedelem's ability to breathe. From the recording, it appears that Fedelem is reaching around to push Monaco away and brushed against his face in the process.

We have not yet received a response from Disney to a query about Fedelem's employment status. In this editor's personal opinion, it is hoped that he will be reinstated with full back pay, as all he was doing was protecting himself without any assistance from his character attendant.

Yes!! it looked like the kid pulled on Tigger's tail or was touching Tigger on the behind...that sounds and looks kind of like the kid deserved it and it was not as bad as the father of the kid is making it sound...but that is just what I saw.

why does my homeboy Tigger, who is my favorite disney character, have to be accused of bad stuff. what's next him being accused of sleeping with Snow or Cindy? and here are my thoughts of the video, if you look closely you can see Tigger slip like when you get up suddenly and trip and he tried to hold on to the kid but missed and got him softly on the cheek. currently i'm watching the Youtube of the analasis of the so-called punch and i think they were screwing with my homeboy.

Teenagers should be forced to watch Westworld before going to a Disney park. Trust me, they'll be better behaved toward people in character costumes.

That's pretty funny and the kid did look like he was pulling Tigger's zipper down. I wonder what ever happened to the guy who was in the costume. Did he go back to Disney. Also the kid had a very annoying voice and the dad seemed like he was trying to do a Mr. Blonde impression. Some people.
