All-time, for me, is Lilo & Stitch, but as far as non-Disney goes, it would be Hoosiers.

My case is a little weird. See, I think the greatest movie ever made is The Passion of the Christ which, in my opinion, shows how films aren't simply entertainent but art forms. But my favorite film in terms of pure entertainment would be Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban which I think is a near perfect film all around (script, acting, cinematography, score, etc.). Coincidentally, I can only find one flaw with both of these films: lack of context. To fully appreciate both films, you need to be familiar with the source material. Otherwise, they're both excellent.

Really? When I was younger and I saw it I was afraid of it. I've yet to watch it entirely since, though now, pretty much due to length.
My favorite Disney movie is pretty hard to choose. I'll just list the ones I enjoy the most. Tarzan, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Hunchback, Pocahontas, The Nightmare Before Christmas (does this count?) I love Disney movies too much to choose!
As for my favorite non-Disney movie, I love Spider-Man 2!
Spider-Man 1 was also good. I can't express the joy I had seeing it for the first time. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan. (The X-Men movies are good too)
I love the Harry Potter films 3>2>1. I agree with a lot of what Disneykid said about POA.
I love a lot of the animated Dreamworks movies, Sinbad, Spirit, Shrek, Prince of Egypt
I'm hoping I'll love the Incredibles.
I'm really bad at choosing favorites.

As of now, it's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, although I really think that ties with The Wizard of Oz...

Just a thought, does anyone get an idea from the title of the topic that the first poster thinks we like nothing but Disney?

HANNIBAL!
I love all three of the Hannibal Lecter's movies but I like especially Hannibal. I love the p.acing of the film, the more on screen participation of the character, the places (Florence, Washington) and the beautiful camera direction/shots.
PS
I have the book and read it. Yeah, the ending is different but the movie had to come out with its own ending for a good reason. And if people knew the real ending I would guess they would have much prefered the movie's (for being more real and believable).

Yeah, the length would turn some people away from the movie. But it's such an Easter Sunday staple, that it's been proven (through ratings) that every year it's the highest-rated program of the week, and more people tune IN as the movie progresses.
I think one of the main reasons I've always loved The Ten Commandments would have to be the lavish sets, the dialogue (where else can you find someone cry out, "Oh Moses, Mose, you stubborn, splendid, adorable fool!" or "You will be mine. All mine like my dog, or my horse, or my falcon, except that I shall love you more - and trust you less."), and the best special effect (even today), parting of the Red Sea.

ITA! That's the best out of all the movies so far. I'm so glad Lucas didn't do that many of his "changes" to ESB.

Would you like to see a remake DG, with Hilary Duff and Frankie Muniz?

I think you should duck, before you get something thrown at you!

As Ichabod said, you better duck before I throw a brick at you. I hate remakes, they always ruin the movies whenever they make a remake.
