well, all platinum covers had change from the very first time we saw them. I´m pretty sure that cover will be different in October, though the whole idea will be the same

I LOVE this cover. It does need some work. I love how Ariel is between two worlds. I think Ursula should look more evil, and they should adjust Ariel's face a little. Besides my nitpicks this cover is wonderful. It will probally be a little diffrent in October. I can't wait for this release !!!!!

i'd be happy if it didn't change, but i'm sure that the changes made will be good ones. it's funny bc i've been sitting here in anticipation for a while now waiting for the cover art and now i almost wish i hadn't seen it yet because it's making me want this movie even more!!! oh well, lol

I love it... not the perfect cover I would like for a Disney classic, but more than good enough for me. In fact, I'm surprised Mermaid Kelly hasn't seen this yet... she'll be jumping for joy when she sees the cover.

I seem to be in the extreme minority on this but, I think the cover is terrible. I absolutely hate it. It's ugly and cluttered. That's just my opinion though, and apparently not a popular one. Two thumbs down.

I think it NEEDS work; and it will have it.

As most people have said it looks childish and WAY too crowded. Plus the seizes on the characters make them look even weirder looking.

Not precisely what I was expecting.

I'd say I think the best looking PEs covers are in this order: TLK, SW and Cinderella.

I was wondering how long it would take before someone selected the cover as their avatar. Pluto is the winner!

I'm wondering when is Luke going to put it with the rest of PEs releases on the RELEASES TYPES.

I changed my avatar to the PE pic too (Pluto, I hope you don't mind), because I've been waiting for that release for a long time...

Not worst than the ugly ALADDIN, but this cover as all the R1 ones til now are too childish...

Upon re-looking at the cover, I noticed that there does seem to be room at the bottom to add another banner of somesort, but it could do without it.

Ariel looks great. I've always thought she looked off-model in most of the covers, something about how big her forehead seemed in most pictures. So I'm glad she's looking this good on the cover.

I've never found region 1 DVD covers pretty in general (with a few exceptions), but this is far and away the UGLIEST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN !! I really hope they changed it ! At least a bit ! Yeurk ! :

No, I'm lookin at the right cover but I really think it's ugly ! As always with the US covers (and now more and more in Europe) I think that the cover is too childish.

And on TLM cover art, I mean we don't even recognize Ariel ! That's not worse that Aladdin though were the character on the cover seemed to be different from the one in the film.! Plus, too much characters on it, too much colors, etc.

I'd have preferred something more "implicit" with shadows or something, you like, something like one of the last poster art for Mermaid threatrical release. But that was a dream since I perfeclty knew how the R1 cover will look like and that it will certainly NOT look like that.

Now I just hope, we'll have a different cover in Europe (that won't prevent from from picking up both R1 and 2 DVDS lol )

I like the cover quite a bit. I only wish that they wouldn't have made sebastian's eyes yellow. That has annyoed me ever since the late 90's release of it. His eyes aren't that color in the movie...I don't know its just always annoyed me.

Where is Mermaid Kelly, she'll freak out when she see The Little Mermaid: PE cover.
Either way she will see it when she buys LATT:PE.
