A few months ago I read on here that seasons 1 and 2 of The Golden Girls would be getting a price reduction down to $23.99 on August 7th. My questions are:

1. It IS a permanent reduction, right?
2. What stores will participate in this price reduction, and which ones will still be selling the sets for $35 - $50 apiece?

Yay! I've been meaning to pick up these titles (Barefoot Executive, Love Bug, and Million Dollar Duck in particular).
