Ah, I stand corrected then.
I guess that makes sense with the uncoupling of the numbers and the tins, and was likely one of the reasons they stopped embossing the tin numbers.

Got the replacement, and I think it IS a player compatibility problem.
Same problem on BOTH of my players, although I have managed to get it working on my PC. I guess that will have to do.
Good news is that my replacement certificate number is now a low, low 4651.
Loomis - how did you get your replacement disc so fast ???

This is weird.
I bought a Disney Rarities set but got a certificate for the ELFEGO BACA set.
Numbered at 19,935/125,000
Someone out there has my certificate and I have theirs.
This also makes me wonder about the actual limited nature of these sets.
Has anyone else got the wrong certificate?

I did! I also bought the Rarities set, and got the Elfego Baca certificate -- and with a low number, 004,220/125,000. It doesn't really bother me, although it is quite sloppy for what is supposed to be a deluxe set.

Not a very special number but since it's the #1 in my collection (as in, the first I got), I like it nonetheless.
