Okay heres where we show our respect for the greatest animated movies ever. choose from the 44 Disney Animated classics, from Snow White to Home on the Range, and pick your favorite 3, 1 being favorite and so on.
My top three are
-Sleeping Beauty- great story, great music, good humour( the fairies) Maleficent is the coolest Disney Villian ever.
-Beauty and the Beast- A grand achievement for its time. Excellent story, combining seriousness with humor, awesome music. Great climax.
-Mulan- I can watch this over and over again. My favorite out of the laste 90's disney movies. Epic battle scenes, great involving story and music.

to be honest...its WAY TOO HARD to just pick three...i love ALL disney animated classics to one degree or another...and those that WOULD be my top three are EVER CHANGING! (as in, i'm lucky if one set of "favorite three"s are the same for two days). So, what i'll say, is that TODAY's top three favorites are:
Beauty and the Beast
The Jungle Book
The Lion King
and also, not far behind would be
The Little Mermaid,
Aladdin,
Pinocchio,
Snow White,
Bambi,
Sleeping Beauty,
101 Dalmatians,
Lady and the Tramp,
Fantasia,
Peter Pan,
Alice in Wonderland,
Cinderella The Emperor's New Groove,
Brother Bear,
Dumbo,
The Aristocats, and
Robin Hood
Thats
roughly 20 favorites...and to me, each one of these movies has something special about it, and something i love about it. So, you asked for my favorites, and i gave it to ya.

My personal favorite has always been Alice in Wonderland, followed very VERY closely by Peter Pan. I am also quite fond of Dumbo and Pinocchio, but the best thing about Alice and Pan are that they're like the best Warner and MGM shorts... You can watch them again and again without worrying about any emotional impact being ruined. You can't say the same for the other two.
But since most of this seems to be ranking, I guess I'll do the same.
1. Alice in Wonderland
2. Peter Pan
3. Dumbo
4. Pinocchio
5. Song of the South - the animated segments only
6. Ichabod & Mr. Toad
7. The Three Caballeros - Ward Kimball's handling of the title song is the best piece of animation the studio ever did.
Every feature that Walt was involved with has something of merit that makes it worth watching though. That's quite a record for features!

Trying to narrow it down to three is pretty hard, but I have managed to get it down to four:
The Lion King
Peter Pan
Pinocchio
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Wow, with 44 choices that makes it really difficult. I could just say that all 44 are in my top three, but I can tell you that I do watch all of them at least once a year, but those four above get watched more often than the others.

It's always refreshing to see this question pop up every few months or so.
Anyways, times and opinions change, though I doubt my top three ever will:
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
Peter Pan

These are my Disney Animated Classics Top 10:
(If you're wondering why, there are a few reasons and opinions...)
1. Mulan (Great Story, Funny Characters, Nice Songs, Cool Graphics, Scary Villain...it has the whole package!)

4. Beauty and the Beast (A wonderful story with pure Disney magic!)
5. The Lion King (A breathtaking story, Funny sidekicks)
6. Pocahontas (The Songs and Original Scores are brilliant!)
7. Lilo and Stitch (It's Original and it's outrageously FUNNY!)

Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 Wonderful, Fantastic, Magnificent. Major props to Disney and his team who brought this wonderful 3rd Animated Classic to life. These will always be number one, so I never have to change this one. Always at the top of my list. 10/10 stars!
The Little Mermaid Great, funny characters. Menken's music really brought the characters, and story, to life. Glen Keane did a fantastic job on the main character, and Ursula was a very effective/powerful villian. Great movie! Really brought back the days of Disney. 10/10 stars!
Beauty and the Beast Superb movie/characters. Once again, Menken's music breathed life to the characters and the whole plot. Great job Menken. Awesome story, stamping, and sending Disney back to the early days of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Fantastic job! 10/10 stars!
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs How much can you say about the one that started it all? This was a wonderful story, with great characters that easily was one of my top 5. It was a great telling of the classic story that everyone knows. Thanks Disney for the one that started it all! If you hadn't, I'd be bored! 10/10 stars!
Bambi A wonderful story, that was never really appreciated, because World War II. I fully appreciated it. It was a tearjerker! Well, not because of that, but......... Anyway, great characters like, Flower, Thumper, and of course Bambi. I think that it was a good idea that Disney didn't show Bambi's mother's death. Magnificent songs, dazziling characters, wonderful scenes. 10/10 stars!
since I'm tired of reviewing I'll just give stars!
The Lion King 9.9/10 stars!
The Jungle Book 9.5/10 stars!
Aladdin 9.2/10 stars!
The Hunchback of Notre Dame 9.1/10 stars!
Lady and the Tramp 9/10 stars!
Lilo and Stitch 9/10 stars!
Mulan 9/10 stars!
Alice in Wonderland 8.8/10 stars!
101 Dalmatians 8.5/10 stars!
Peter Pan 8.5/10 stars!
