I had the DVD for about a week (I got it for Christmas in 2004, having not already seen the film). About a week later, I let a friend borrow it.

Then, about a month after that, I was at the friend's house, and not only did I not want it, but neither did he. I told him to give it away - just anything to keep it as far away from me as possible.

I really enjoyed this movie and have it on dvd. The reason why, is because it reminds me so much of high school and people that I was around. I laugh at all of Napoleon's little remarks and it helps that my brother can do a perfect impression.

As for the special edition, it is a <b>2-disc</b> called <b>"Like, The Best Edition Ever!"</b> It is scheduled for release May 16. From the picture on Amazon, it looks like it will come in a slipcover. Go <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... m">here</a>.

According to Napoleon (A clip on Amazon) it will have loads of "flippin' sweet" extras like:

<b>Disk 1:

Best Buy's going to have an exclusive set (similar to what they did with Tommy Boy)!
Image

currently priced at 37.99 (pre-ordered), but it'll probably drop to 35 for the first week. who knows.

so...who's a HUGE fan of ND?!

Wow. As much as I despise this movie, that looks to be a pretty good DVD.

For fans of the movie, that is.

I saw part of it and it looks lame. My dad said it was very very slow and unfunny. Sounds like a movie to AVOID.

I have the first DVD of the moive. I don't watch it that much, because I think that it is very...........stupid, but none-the-less, I like it in my collection.

This is easily one of my family's favorite films! I still haven't gotten around to getting it! Want the newer edition with the slipcover, but whenever Best Buy or any other place puts it at a great sale price, they take OFF the slipcovers! That is such B.S.! That DVD without the slip cover looks awful! It says Vote for Pedro on it. Looks like some direct to video sequel!

Anyways, definitely plan to get it EVENTUALLY. LOVE that movie. I actually have talking action figures of Napoleon and Pedro, and don't even have the movie yet, ha.

I didn't really care for it...

Personally, I think it is too over-rated...

For the person who said it is a cult classic, way too many people have seen it for that status...
