I too have been going to the site for quite some time, but today that just made me register. I pray that this will not be a yearly thing. Does anyone know here the real press release is of Ducktales and Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers? Not the one on the front page. This is awesome news and it seems that they are paring them up by genre Ex. Ducktales + Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers= Adventure. I bet if Gummi Bears came out it would be with The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. What do you guys thing the chances of Disney releasing newer shows such as Doug, Pepper Ann, 101 Dalmations, Hercules, The Weekenders, Recess, etc are after all of the old shows are out? I have a feeling that if Disney does this by a yearly thing that by the end of the Ducktales DVDs (5 or so yeears) We will be in a new data format (HD-DVD or Blu-ray) Hopefully Disney will release them at a rapid pace. The Golden Girls and Boy Meets World have come out pretty fast. Usually a new season of a program comes out every 4 - 6 months, but sometimes it can be quicker. Probably not with Disney. Just imagine the disk art, cases, menus, quality and bonus feautures! AHH!! I can't wait until the 8th of November! It will not come fast enough. I read that next year when The Little Mermaid comes to Platinum DVD the series will too - - hopefully the same will be with 101 Dalmations. The show was very popular at the time..

65 episodes in first seasons, 88 over four seasons.

Well I guess you could average it out and do four releases of three disks.
Isn't it 100 or are you counting the multi-parters as one?

Cause i have every episode on my computer and it's 100 30-minute episodes.

It's about time, we've been talking about these enough. The one I'd buy the fastest is TailSpin, but hey, Rescue Rangers is RIGHT UP there. I will be getting that very soon, when it's available, very soon.

Hooray! I'm not that fussed about C+D although I'll still get it anyhoo! But Ducktales really is what I want! It's unlikely to suggest that an entire series will be available on 3 discs, considering that the 3 disc season 2 vol1 dvd of Gargoyles only holds 26 episodes, the series may be split up into volumes.

This news that other releases such as the Gummi Bears and House of Mouse are more of a possibility!

See avatar. Think I may just be picking it up ;)

I really do hope it's season by season, broadcast order, but we'll see. Wonder how many episodes you get on 3 DVDs... 24? One season perhaps?

Looking good... roll on November!

Actualy - I hope it's production order. It's so much easier to watch, especialy where the second season is concerned.

100 - 30 minutes episodes in all

88 episodes if you count the specials that were later split into 5 after original broadcast as 1 episode (Disney oringinally aired the specials episodes as one long episode and later broke them up into five 30 minute episodes and re-aired them all individually)

You've missed two episodes somewhere.

This is from Bill Cotter's The Wonderful World of Disney Television, Offical Disney Book, detailing History of Disney's broadcasts....

Season 1=
Treasure of the Golden Suns - 1
then 60 episodes

Season 2=
Time Is Money - 1
Super DuckTales - 1

18 episodes

Season 4=
7 episodes (finishing with The Golden Goose)
Season 1: 61
Season 2: 2
Season 3: 18
Season 4: 7
------------------
Total : 88

Your counting the Golden Goose as 2 episodes.
