Do you honestly expect anyone here to know if there will be a UK release when we didn't even know there would be a US one yesterday.
Shall we just calm down and wait and see?

Has Dumbo been deleted in the UK?
I have been habging on for an SE for a while but none seems forthcoming and now Play and others have stopped stocking it.
Does this mean a new edition is on the way?
And are the rUmours about a Robin Hood:SE true. If so its about time
Am i right in saying that of the official classics canon only Make Mine Music has yet to get a release in the Uk? (with 101 dalmatians and jungle book having only a limted release)

yes Dumbo's deleted and if you look back 1 page in this thread you will discover some discussion on this:
http://www.choicesuk.com/Product.aspx/!686567
ChoicesUK listing a 2-Disc Dumbo SE for May 28th
WHICH YOU CAN NOW ORDER!!!! (you couldn't when we were discussing it, just sign up to be notified)
and play.com have taken down their listing of Dumbo Special Edition but still have Robin Hood Special Edition/Dumbo Special Edition listed

When will Peter Pan be released in Europe (ie UK). I believe it's supposed to be a month before the US (Yay!) but I'm not sure if it has been changed...

So it's no longer the "one month before US" thingy? Shame ... lol
BTW, I wonder what that big "FREE!!!" is referring to on that Peter Pan cover art way up there in the heavens...

Oh .. all right! I guess in my case that's disposable then. I live in Malta and when I open the DVD packaging, I see "Offer valid only to residents of Ireland and the United Kingdom".
I've had similar free book offers in my other Region 2 DVDs such as Aladdin, Tarzan ... I believe, and my beautiful Beauty and the Beast digipak.

No, this book actually comes with the DVD. You don't have to send away for it.

There are two versions of Peter Pan SE R2UK to buy. One with a book. One without the book. IMO, the book seems extremely poor.

The book isn't free on Play.com, it costs another £2.00 - which is a bit of a cheek if Disney are promoting it as a freebie!

Well Play usually charge extra for freebies. But the DVD and the DVD with the book both have the same SRP and most sites are offering them at the same price.

Is it only a storybook or does it have something to do with the making of the film?

Well, Play normally absorb the postage costs. I guess a free book costs more to post.
As far as I know Billy, its a story book. You can also get a twin pack with the book, but it confusingly calls this a 2 disc set, when it should be 3
