Here is some great news; I may be getting
Bambi before it hits UK streets, well sort of. Play have sent it out, which means I could get it by Saturday...but knowing my "whoopee" comments, It'll probably arrive on Monday like everyone else's.

About a 4th thread: Originally, I planned to start a new thread every 20 pages. But the popularity of The New DVD Threads have increased since the original discussion - this installment has reached 20 pages in under 3 months, while the last 2 threads did it 6. And I'm sure the next one I start will grow even faster.
Since you guys have made this topic so active, I think what I'll be doing from now on is creating a New DVD Thread for every year, instead of doing one every 20 pages. I think that'll work better, and allow for the ever-growing popularity of this discussion.
Since we're already into 2005, I figure I'll start "The New DVD Thread 2005" very soon.

That being said, here's a DVD update from me! I traded in my old copy of
The Parent Trap (1998), since the SE is coming in May, for credit towards a brand-new copy of
Piglet's Big Movie from the Hippie Store. So I got teh Piglet for only $8!

Ya know, Jack. You've been mentioning this "hippie store" often.
So, from one San Diegan to another...what is it/where is it?

Underworld Unrated Extended Edition @ Best Buy for $14.99 (haha, the lazy employees forgot to put up the "$24.99" price so I ended up getting the DVD for $10 less!

)
Notting Hill and
Under the Tuscan Sun @ Best Buy with the 2 for $15 deal.

The real name is "Mojo Sounds", and its at 1084 Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach. They specialize in selling used DVDs & CDs, but they sell quite a few brand-new copies too. I think its all a front though - I saw some sneakers hanging over the telephone wire just above their parking lot.
