I know it's a small image, but did anyone see this on Vudu?

Here's a bigger one:

Probably what the 2-Movie Collection Blu-ray's cover art going to look like.
As Matt already pointed out, The 3 movies were released digitally in the US today, with the sequels being offered as a bundle for $19.99 on both Vudu and Microsoft. Just purchased them...

Will the Blu-Ray have a digital copy? I'm guessing it won't since all the other double packs didn't, which to me stinks. Where did you see the bundle offer? I was looking on Vudu and didn't see it. :(

Here it is:

It's currently $19.99 for the two movies. Like you said, I was debating on whether I should get them as the Blu-ray release hasn't been detailed yet and we don't know if it will include a digital copy, but seeing as all previous double packs didn't come with one I went ahead and purchased as I was too scared to miss the offer.

I'm so tore to get this though lol. I don't want to buy it if it's gonna be with the combo pack but I'm most positive it won't be, what do you think?

Like I said, I went ahead and purchased the digital bundle based on the fact that no previously released double pack came with digital copies, but who knows if they'll pull a first this time? Are you a DMC member? If you are, I think the best thing to do would be to call them and ask directly if the combo pack will include digital copies. The set is released as a DMC exclusive on October 13th and they most definitely have it listed in their database already. Definitely wouldn't hurt to ask...

Anyone want to post some screenshots for us? (or even a clip if possible) I'm curious to see what these transfers look like.

Here are a few screenshots I took on an iPad with retina display, playing the iTunes HD files:

As you can see, the quality isn't amazing (to say the least), but it is kind of expected knowing the animation quality on these two. Also, both are cropped to widescreen which is very disappointing.

Just pre-ordered Aladdin-Diamond Edition from Amazon.com..they have it listed for 19..95 and with tax, comes to 22.00; and free shipping if you are a Prime member....much better than the deal with Disney Movie Club....

Yes, the new sequel combo packs will have a digital copy with them! :woot:  I did call DMC to find this out. I actually called three times and got a yes from each cast member just to make sure lol. :milkbuds:
So I will wait for them to come out early next year. :)

Hey, its better than sword and the stone, and that was a theatrically released movie. Compared to that I'd say it looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Does anyone remember the computer game Disney's Math Quest with Aladdin? It featured original (albeit crude) animation, with all the original cast reprising their roles from the film, including Robin Williams.

I remember!

There's another game called Disney's Reading Quest with Aladdin that features the same type of animation.

I recently found that, too. Until late last year, I was completely unaware that Williams came back to play Genie so many times in the late 90s. We all know about "King Of Thieves," but "Great Minds Think For Themselves" and "Disney's Math Quest" were things that I only just recently discovered. Williams apparently had another feud with Disney over "Bicentennial Man" in 1999 (or so I've heard), but from '96 to '98, he was pretty dedicated to the role. I mean, if he was willing to come back for a random edutainment video game, just imagine what else we could have gotten him for (if it weren't for all of his fights with the company)! We might have even gotten him for the TV series, "Return Of Jafar," and who knows what else.

Thanks for that list of "Great Minds Think For Themselves" episodes, too, by the way.

It's a real shame that the sequels are cropped. I still can't believe that the only way to get "King Of Thieves" in its original 4x3 is to import the old Australian DVD. So annoying.

Yeah, I still don't understand why they would do that. It's even weirder they did that only to The King of Thieves and not to The Return of Jafar.

Is it really cropped, or just unmatted? I don't mind opening up the frame, I just don't want the top and bottom missing.

I mean I'm not completely surprised by it, but I'm surprised no one has commented on how...bad...this potential cover for the sequel combo pack looks. We know Disney is kind of infamous for randomly arranging clipart for covers but this is truly bad looking. Like, it just looks so obviously unfinished. Jafar's hat? It sort of just caps off at the top and there's no feather or anything? The arrangement of everything is bizarre as well. There's so much dead space. Don't get me wrong, I am glad they are being released (they're two of the only DTV sequels I actually like), but that cover art seems jarringly lazy.

Jafar looks like a hot air balloon. And Jasmine.....yikes the poor thing has been getting awful clip art lately.

The silver lining being that perhaps this cover is actually truth in advertising for what you're getting when you buy the poorly-animated DTV sequels?
