Until we get a confirmation, I'll just say that Masi Oka would be a no-brainer to get for the voice cast.
I apologize if I offended you. I realize my post came off a little rude. It wasn't intentional.disneyprincess11 wrote:Which is why, I said could
I didn't mean it like that. Of course, it's OK to post rumors. I just meant we should be careful not to take every little rumor at face value. I should have phrased my response differently.Victurtle wrote:There's nothing wrong with posting rumours. Disneyprincess11 posted the source (tumblr) so we can judge for ourselves how reliable the source is. No need for the attitude. If we weren't allowed to post anything other than confirmed information this might as well just be a news site with a comment section.
Well, he does have experience in playing a Hiro.Avaitor wrote:Until we get a confirmation, I'll just say that Masi Oka would be a no-brainer to get for the voice cast.
That's quite the statement to make, especially after Frozen's praises.Q: What are your thoughts about Japanese Animation? Are you a fan or prefer good old American Animation style?
Justin Sklar: I'm not super into Miyazaki movies which feels like something I shouldn't admit, but I just have a hard time getting into them.
There are a lot of things that anime does really well, though. As we start work on ‘Big Hero 6' I've been looking at a lot of anime to try and capture the crazy energy anime often has.
Q: Tell the audience and us a little bit about your latest projects, what are you working on as for 2014?
Justin Sklar: Right now I'm working on ‘Big Hero 6', which is a lot of fun. We started a little while ago and it's going to be a ton of work to get done, but I can promise it's going to look better than anything Disney has done in recent memory.
I think they are trying to outdo themselves after Frozen's success. I mean these recent years they have been on a roll and are trying to be getter better with each movie.Warm Regards wrote:Saw this on ... tumblr ... but there is an actual source. It's an interview with a Disney animator, Justin Sklar.

THANK YOU!!!!!Disney Duster wrote:Disney shouldn't do this because it's a Marvel property. Then Marvel characters would become Disney characters! Disney and Marvel aren't the same! They must remain their own!
I don't think so because this is just a property that is obscure and could be written as an alternate universe.disneyprincess11 wrote:THANK YOU!!!!!Disney Duster wrote:Disney shouldn't do this because it's a Marvel property. No, I don't. I want them to do original movies. I don't want them to do Marvel movies because if they "run" out of ideas, they'll always rely on Marvel and Star Wars movies to do.thedisneyspirit wrote:You people only want Disney to do princess films.
Exactly, I don't see a problem here at all. None of these characters or comics are established in pop culture and 90% of audiences will see this as an original story, having no clue of the source material. If this was Spider-Man or the X-Men, I would totally agree that it wouldn't work for Disney's animated canon, but if you said Big Hero 6 on the street today, all you would get is a general "What?"estefan wrote:I see adapting a comic book as no different than them making an adaptation of a Victor Hugo book or Greek mythology or a book inspired by Sherlock Holmes. I also think there's a reason they chose this source material and not, say, the Incredible Hulk or Iron Man or one of the other heavies.
Of the more than fifty Disney animated features, how many are original stories and how many are adaptations? The day Disney run out of ideas is the day they should give up and close their doors for good.disneyprincess11 wrote:No, I don't. I want them to do original movies.
