Ummmmm those covers all kinds of horrible .....
Though it is nice to see the full clip art of Cindy rather than just her torso.

How strange that the spine on the french release is upside down...

Eugh just looking at the covers again ..... this does take the piss literally for Disney. They moan about having to make things gender-neutral, then they pull crap like an out and out sparkly pink cover?

It's not strange; that's just how spines of books/films etc tend to be laid-out in French-speaking countries (as well as in German-speaking countries, and no doubt others as well).
In any case, ewww at that French DVD cover. It actually looks like a fan-made design. The Blu-Ray cover is not that bad, though.

Hey everyone,
First, I am from South America, and we place the titles on spines the same way the French/Germans do... its probably part of the metric system :-P
As far as the french cover... ugh, thats terrible. And a shame too, Europe usually gets great clip art. Do you guys remember the French cover for the one disc edition of Cinderella back in 2005? It was gorgeous!! (and she was on model for the first time in ages! Even if her hair was a tad too orange)
Now that I see Cinderella's art with the whole body... I know we all whine about the color changes... but its fascinating how her dress has almost become all ONE color: the same shade of blue...gloves included! God...

Yeah, that cover's hilarious.
Btw, am I the only one who gets a strange kick out of "drill" in Cinderella's name?

I know it's just the way it's translated, but it sticks out to me because of how girly they market this movie.

What is she even doing in that image? Inspecting her slipper?? It makes no sense at all.

I know! Why would they make up a new scene just for the cover...

People, is there any confirmation about a trailer of "The Little Mermaid" in this release? The trailers of fall releases usually show up in this point of the year (it was like that with Cinderella and TLK).

Oh gosh, these are starting to look dangerously cheap ....
Really, supremely tacky for such an iconic film.

ALL of the Japanese Diamond Collection covers look cheap... thankfully there are usually are non-DC labelled versions which look much nicer.
The 3-MC looks really clip arty, esp with the bright colours, but I sort of like it.

I like that 3-movie Japanese cover a lot...though I forgot Cinderella II starred Lucifer over any other characters!

How can you possibly like that?? These releases are getting tackier and tackier by the second.

I don't think they're as bad as some people are making out.
I actually like the first two covers. Yes, the 1st is "girly/"princessy" or whatever but I like that we have a head-to-toe image of Cinderella that is simplistic with her and only her. I think it's purdy ("..quiet bud!"

). As for the second, I think the silver border around the picture would've looked better without but the font looks much better horizontal, it looks cheaper having it going down the side and at least the Japanese one doesn't have tags like "includes Blu-Ray + DVD", which in my opinion spoils the overall presentation of the cover art; which is what I like most about the steelbooks (just artwork and title font ONLY no other mess). If the artwork had been a full cover of the image inside the border it would've been lovely to me.
I guess the 3rd is a little bright/colourful/garish/cartoonish and aimed more for a child than a collector but it serves it's purpose and isn't that bad, especially seeing as some of you liked the sequel covers and this is more or less the same just merged. Besides, we have the classy glass slipper trilogy box set cover art here!

The French Blu-ray with a slightly zoomed out picture of the US Blu-ray cover is much better than ours.
I actually like the very pink and sparkly French DVD for the Cinderella Trilogy. If it wasn't pink and had a more polished looking star glow effect around Cinderella (and if she was drawn and colored better/more accurately) maybe people would be more accepting. But I actually love it. Not that I'll spend money on this one just to get the cover I like so much. Hehee.
The French Blu-ray trilogy cover looks bad to me as has all the past French Blu-ray sequel packs. It's weird to see a colored, shaded, polished image of a character and then a quick sketch of them just plopped together like that on the same cover space. Didn't Bambi get a really great and better cover for his sequel pack, one with a removable outer cover of him and The Great Prince and the other animals looking at you through leaves and branches? Why can't they all be like that, or is there a version like that for all of them?
The Japanese Diamond cover would look great were the middle shape different and if the characters and scenery arranged a little different, too, more like those other horizontal titled covers I've seen.

This is quite cool, make up inspired by the Princesses. The compact is lovely.

Also, I was wondering if anyone had a copy/download link for the soundtrack to 'Twist In Time'? Still suprised Disney has never released an offical soundtrack to this .....
