I'm a little late with this, because I purchased it on Friday, but only watched the first couple of episodes last night.

The full Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes collection: for £25 from my local supermarket! It's a really handsome collection which looks stunning.

Absolutely superb. Never before or since has Holmes be done as well.

All remastered as well (I have the older set with somewhat janky transfers and over double the disc count as everything is on DVD5s). My only regret is that, sadly, as the series progresses over the 10 years it was on air (off and on) you can see the late Jeremy Brett's health slowly deteriorate - and it even seems as if some of the later adaptations have been rewritten to sideline the actor somewhat, presumably due to his ill-health.

Such a shame for the best Sherlock Holmes actor ever.

Iron Man 2 (Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy), $15.00 + tax at Wal-Mart.com

Just checked the Blu-ray.com forums and one insightful member posted a link to walmart.com, where you can preorder the multi-format combo pack for $15. No idea how long this Rollback will last, but I was more than happy to cash in on this offer. :)

Cheers,
JM :thumb:

From what I've read they cancelled all the orders. Guess it was a price mistake. :(

Haven't got anything new for awhile. I hate fall and the run-up to Christmas cause you go bankrupt.

Haven't actually picked them up yet, but they should be in my library by noon today. I'll report back here in this post with the prices I got them for.

Should have used the coupon at Ultimate Electronics for "Prince of Persia", they are honoring the coupon and for the Blu-ray Combo pack you only pay $15.99.

Copied the pictures from previous posts with the same movie. Sorry :( Neverending Story i did on my own though! :) All three are DVD's.

At long last, the Black Cauldron is finally mine!!!! After waiting for six months, it was torture! The Neverending Story? That was another "Yes! I finally have it!" one.. Last time i got the sequel but thought it was the first one. Very disappointed because the sequel stunk. Trust me. After seeing it, you would probably think the Disney Sequels are worthy for an Emmy award(Was pretty interesting seeing the kid from "Stephan King's IT" in the movie though).. Prince of Persia? How the heck do they expect the Black Cauldron to get populer when you release PoP at the same time? :P And how the heck am i supposed to pick the darn thing up without getting my hands burned by the princes' hotness? :P

And now, i am off to watch the Black Cauldron. For the first time in six months, i shall sleep well.. :P

Er...the Emmy Awards are for Television.

Oscar/Academy Award is for Film.

It's not listed on the List of Reviews, so I'm guessing "no". :(

Aaron will be reviewing Camp Rock 2.
