NO WORRIES!!!

I'm glad I didn't buy the BaTB on Ebay for $30 plus S&H and take a risk of it being a fraud or damages.

Because I just went to Newbury Comics today and they usually sell a bunch of used DVDs, well today I saw BaTB for $30 used. the reason its so much used is because ya its out of print of course. I was just hoping nothing would be wrong with it.

Well Good News

1.It came with the slipcover.
2.No damages, spills, bents
3.Stickers still on it promoting Buy 3, Get one Free etc.
4.The Discs are not scratched at all.
5.It comes with all the info panels inside and coupons.

So I lucked out :)

Welcome! :D

The whole thing works for Canada as well, although I'm not sure of the exact number. If you can find a member called Jayden, PM him for the number as he may have it.

Now, the number is...

I called and got Lion King and Alice in Wonderland on the way, but the one that I really want is Snow White Platinum DVD. They don't have it, does anyone know where I can find it?

In response to Stitch's Glitch's question, Snow White was released before Disney was doing slip covers. Anyways, I was thinking about getting "A Bug's Life," but all of the copies in stores are slipcover-less. Does anyone know if Disney has them in stock and if so, how do I get one?

Do any of the Pixar movies have slipcovers like Bambi or Aladdin. When I bought The Incredibles, it just had something that you slipped over and not in a book form like Bambi or Aladdin. I don't recall the Pixar movies having actual slipcovers.

Well does anyone know where I can get the insert for the cover? My friend traded me the two discs for Snow White Platinum, but I do not have the cover. Anyone know where I can find one? I printed one out but it looks terrible on my display shelf! As for Nala's question, No I have not seen any book-like slip covers by Pixar only the regular ones.

Disney might have them in stock.. You can try calling..it never hurts to. :) It's rare, because I *think* I've heard people saying they ran out of Finding Nemo covers as well as the shiny and lovely A Bug's Life Cover.

Did you call the Disney C.S.? I assume you're asking about the COVER ART, and not the insert. You should ask them...it never hurts to call. :)

None of the Pixar movies had book slipcovers; just shiny ones (Although I wouldn't know because I don't have a Monsters Inc. slipcover and some say Disney did release one...:()
But I'll double check...

- Toy Story 1 & 2 did not have slipcovers; only the Ultimate Toy Box which holds the 3 DVDs! :) And it's a clear slipcover that surrounds the silver box holding the 3 DVDs.
- Monsters Inc. (eh, no comment. :( I don't have one, and most people don't)
- Finding Nemo has a shiny, blue slipcover
- A Bug's Life has a shiny slipcover that matches the DVD cover art!
- The Incredibles has a shiny red slipcover..

None of those are booklike slipcover.

I was lucky enough to call them and ask for one of the A Bug's Life collector's edition Slipcovers. It was one of the six that was left, I called last Tuesday so u might get lucky if they still have some.

Yes, Disney customer service is very nice on the phone. I can understand though why they might get irritated with some people who try to hoard slip covers.

I had a damaged case and they are sending me a free replacement case. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that they will not only replace slipcovers, but also the case (with the paper sheet cover). They were so nice that they didn't even ask how it got damaged (my fault, btw).

:)

This thread was very helpful, Thank You everyone. I just got slipcovers for Bug's Life, Sleeping Beauty, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The lady told me that everyone gets a limit of 5 slipcovers, so I still get 2 more. :D

No. That is what I originally did. They replied to my email by saying that I should call their customer help number. It was a very generic email making me suspect it was an automated reply.

You should just call. It is a 1-800 number and so it is free.

Is it the same number in Canada?

I got the Lion King Movie Collection and it only had the ordinary slip. No slipcovers but I registered all my Disney DVDs. Would they send me one of those.
