And you're right, I am a VERY HARDCORE Disney fan. I guess I got a bit jealous of others here and I wanted to try and make something for myself, something that would make you proud. But I guess I got carried away and I overdid it and as an indirect result, everyone now hates me. Look, I didn't mean any harm. Oh, and about the times for the sets. Wouldn't you like to know how long some of the features were? You wouldn't go and buy a 2-disc set (unless you are a HUGE fan of the movie) with only a few bonus features on the second disc that only last, all together, about 20 minutes, would you? It would seem pointless to not have the times*
*Well, except for the older days when this wasn't happening and a lot of different people participated. Now it's just a small few, and now it's really seeming to get old and tiresome, and maybe even boring.
I don't know if I'll be back to this thread. Everything, all of the discs, sound so correlative, and so repetitive that the overall point of this thread seems fruitless. This isn't any fun anymore, and, frankly, it's kinda your fault. Please, take no offense, and don't ask why, it's just you think you're the best, and this thread is supposed to be about fun, not conceitedness.

I ALREADY pointed out the whole "design to production to enduring popularity", as well as the restoration blurb, and there's still quite a few more that I've avoided mentioning because I did not want to come off as being nitpicking or petty. But my god, don't outright lie and say you're using your own sets of words. I mean, I'm surprised T-SoD hasn't said anything about you constantly using his "The Effect of (insert movie title, any movie title)" featurette. "Disney Time Capsule: 19xx" is understandable, and yes, I'm guilty of that too. Mere examples. For instance, let's say I made a DVD called Doctor Gulley and the Dalmatians of Doom: Legacy Edition. It's a two-disc set, with the director's cut of the film, an audio commentary, a 90-minute documentary, and five specifically-titled featurettes unique towards certain aspects and characters in the film. Then let's say someone else posts their DVD called Happy the Dancing Elf of Phrooflington: Legendary Edition. And that's also a two-disc set which oh-so-conveniently also includes the director's cut, an audio commentary, a 90-minute documentary, and five broadly-titled featurettes that are supposed to be unique towards certain aspects and characters in the film. And really, there's nothing *new* that I've created in any of my sets, as they are types of featurettes to be found on a Disney or non-Disney DVD. So what am I doing really? In the mean time, I'll shell out a couple more of my tongue-in-cheek "Family Fun!" Editions, whatever's left of my Legacy Collections (I still have quite a few that I simply never posted yet), then ge back to doing something more productive with my time.

Well, I didn't understand how to do this. Perhaps TSoD should have listed your demands of me as guidelines on how to (and NOT to) do a DVD. If I were to create a thread similar to this one, I will post the guidelines on the thread for all to see. That way there won't be any worries of too much unoriginality. Yes, there is no way, no how, you can send your ideas to Disney and expect it to accept them, not without an agent anyway. Believe me, if they took ideas from the general public, I would have sent them to them long ago. On an internet forum, if someone's able to set up an account on their own and read/reply to threads, they shouldn't need a mentor to say how to do things different from others. But I have no idea how much an average DVD has, about two hours maybe; and that's certainly not enough to fill a big DVD. No, Asperger's isn't my excuse for everything. And the way Escapay spoke to me kinda hurt my feelings, regardless of how legitimate his words are. I'm just a VERY sensitive person. I'm just susceptible to people's harsh words. I don't care how legitimate those words are, they still kinda tread on personal territory. I've been like this for as long as I can remember. I'm just EXTREMELY sensitive to people's words. I hope you understand my feelings, PeterPanfan. I don't like to copy, either (and I understand it's not okay to copy), but when someone talks to me about that rather harshly, I take it a bit hard. I hope you understand, unlike some people. As for being taught a thing or two about copying people, I did understand not to copy, but I didn't understand that not copying includes not reusing so much as a smidgen of a vowel spoken by someone else.
