I noticed the "Made in Mexico" stickers on the slipcovers of new DVDs (Disney as well as WB, etc.) too, but it's no big deal.
I made the post in 31 Augest, 2004? Yeah, the post is old.
Of all the Disney DVDs I have, Simba's Pride is the only one made in Mexico. I also have The Lion King I, The Lion King 1 1/2, Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear.
Wait...is the "made in mexico" a bad thing; is it supposed to be made in the U.S.?? Just wondering.

No, not really. Just a random thing we noticed that made us go "hrm, will you look at that." d:

I agree with Key. It's not a bad thing. It's just odd. I think one of my DVDs has "Made in Taiwan" on the underside near the middle of the disc. The box says "Made in The United States" though. Strange.

I already got some spam in my mailbox. It looks like I'll have to hide and change my address again.

Uhem...that is not a news flash.
Now if this thread were titled, "Gratuitous Compliments" then your comment would fit right in.
But here's a
news flash for you, IT's NOT
Carry on, all.

I'm very glad this thread was bumped (even though I mistook it for something else originally). These posts were mostly before my time at UD so it was a lot of fun to look back over.
Luke, in October of 2003, wrote:We're now ranked 694,278th of all websites in the Amazon/Alexa traffic ranking. This is the highest we've been, and our 1 week averages are in the 400,000s. The Top 100K is a pretty big deal. At that point, Alexa tracks daily traffic on the chart. And to think, I remember when we weren't even in the top Million.
Anyway, I'm positive this interests all of you - that's why I post it. Not for my ego, I swear! Wink
Very cool... where's the site at now?

My Netscape 7 sidebar says 132,151. That's a good improvement.
