I colored a Merida to match (and enlarged her head since it didn't look quite right otherwise):



And did some old-fashioned photoshopping to rearrange and squeeze everyone in. Wish it was even bigger but I didn't have much to work with.

It acquired to me a while back while looking at one of the Ariel cliparts that she's wearing a dead starfish but I forgot to bring it up here.

I agree after all is said and done I don't think Merida will be a "front and center" princess like Ariel, Cinderella, Rapunzel ect. I see her more in the lane of Jasmine and Snow White they are featured but usually not in the center or as often as the "big name princesses" unless their movie is out.

The sad part is that with so many issues regarding the Princess line what Disney is actually showing it´s the lack of care in reaching out to boys (or even adults).

Because, you tell me...with the focus of attention on these characters are their movies you forget there are other ones for boys. Even Jasmine has made sure to alienate boys towards Aladdin; so ironic given the fact that this is one of the very few male oriented films. More so, when their male leading movies are nowhere to be found.

Where´s the interest shown by Disney in the male leading movies (being merchandise and/or the treatment of the movie itself on BR/DVD)?
