I'm buying my combo pack at Target. It has a free exclusive CD with it....probably not too unlike the one that came with the original Sleeping Beauty special edition release several years ago. Anyone know anything about it? Like what songs are on it?

What are the prices looking like? Target and Best Buy both have it for $24.99, but I didn't get an ad for Toys 'R' Us or Walmart...

Hey guys! I'm getting much more excited for this release as it comes closer. I decided to cave in and buy the Combo Pack now (I was holding it off since I'm trying to avoid a lot of purchasing right now... this and How to Train Your Dragon are the only DVDs I'm buying this month, plus the new wave of Hallmark ornaments this Saturday, this is one expensive month!). I got the coupon from Disney Movie Rewards and I was wondering if anybody knew if the coupon could be used on, say, Amazon, or do I have to go to a store and use it? Not that I have anything against going to a store and picking it up but the nearest mall is a fifty-minute walk from my college... so going to a store really is not a high priority for me.

it can't be used online as far as I know....

do you have any friends that could give you a ride to a Target or walmart?

I don't know any upperclassmen who can give me a lift but it's okay. That mall that's 50 minutes away has a Target and I don't mind the walk. If I can't use it online, it's no big deal, I have time between classes on release day to go walk there and back and pick up the Combo Pack (again, I wouldn't be buying it so soon if I didn't have the coupon).

I'm going to Toys R' Us, their Sunday ad lists the price as $12.99 after $10 coupon from beautysave10offer.com. They list sale price as $22.99, down from $29.99.

Their ad SPECIFICALLY says that the total will be $12.99, so I am not worried about using the coupon on the already "lowered" price of $22.99. I'm bringing the ad in and everything just in case someone tries to play dumb.

Has anyone experienced a title being sold-out on release day? This is my first trip out on a release day and I can't go until after work, so I am worried that they might be sold out.

I do wonder why, in the UK, that the Collectors Book only comes with the DVD, as it did for Snow White, and not the Blu ?
To make us double dip, as if purchasing the vhs/dvd+upcoming blu over the years have not been enough !!!!! :D

Awesome. Combined with the $5 deposit that anyone put down when they got Prince of Persia in September ($10 off if you pre-order BATB, Tink3, or Toy Story 3 for $5), that's only $7.99 that you pay on street date.

I'm already getting my copy at MovieStop ($26.00+change minus $16 trade-in credit minus $10 coupon = pay just the change and tax), but I also had one pre-ordered at Toys R Us for a friend. Glad to know I'm gonna end up spending less than $10 on Tuesday to get two copies of the movie!

So I was looking on the official website (http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/anima ... amond.html) trying to figure out which edition to buy, and I honestly can't figure out what the difference is between the DVD Combo Pack, and the Blu-ray Combo Pack. Does anyone know?

Ultimate Electronics has the best price for the Beauty and the Beast 3-Disc Combo Pack at $12.99 on Blu-ray, with the $10 coupon from Disney Rewards. Their store price for this week is $22.99 for said product.

Guess where I am buying "Beauty and the Beast"?

:D

Anybody know how much the Wal Mart moviecash is for? I hope it's more than $7.50 which is what a lot of them are for now & won't even fully buy a matinee ticket here.

Add in a pre-order for Toy Story 3 and get it for $2.99!

wait, didn't Aaron's review say the bonus features differed? I think I remember someone complaining about less features like no Jordin Sparks video.

So, do they require you to get a coupon from beautysave10offer and bring it in? If so, I doubt they will take two coupons. Most stores won't take more than one coupon per item. Either way, sounds like you found a good price!

Could you use two coupons and apply them to two Blu-rays?

October 5 sees the following two releases:

Blu-Ray + DVD Combo Pack (2 Blu-Rays, 1 DVD) in Blu-ray Packaging
DVD + Blu-Ray Combo Pack (1 DVD, 2 Blu-Rays) in DVD Packaging

The discs are the same in either of those, and the different packaging is a stupid marketing ploy by Disney to ensure that the title gets displayed in both the DVD section and the Blu-Ray section, as well as to confuse DVD buyers into thinking they're buying a packed DVD set, when in reality they just get one DVD and two packed Blu-Rays.

Then on November 23, a two-disc DVD will be released in DVD Packaging containing the DVD (same as found in the Combo Packs) and an additional DVD containing most (but not all) the special features from the Blu-Ray (this is where the new Music Video would be).

I am SO considering skipping my most boring class on Tuesday to go get this (it's also the last class of my day).

The irony?

The class I would be skipping is Ethics. :D
