Nope, no need to send the whole DVD! All you gotta do is ask and if they have it available, they'll send it to you.

No, unfortunately they do not have boxes for Aladdin GIFTSET, Lion King GIFT SET, Lion King Trilogy Box, Fantasia Anthology...

It's just a reproduction of the artwork, ala Mulan. It was a very limited time item, in that I only saw it on some of the Monsters, Inc's in a Canadian Wal-Mart once, and never again. It's stuck in my mind because it was the first time I saw a movie with a slipcover, and I thought that was a neat idea at the time.

You aren't able to get one via Disney, I've tried, and I think that's because of the nature of it. Anyways, I'm glad someone here has been able to confirm what I've been saying.

I was almost done with the slipcovers I needed, however, the two I received today were damged by the post office (nothing surprising there, the only way to protect envelopes like that would be to add strong metel lining)

Has this happend to anyone that already had their limit of five and got replacement covers?

Explain your problem to them nicely, and for sure they'll ship a nicer&better one.
Someone posted this similar problem a while back and they got replacements for it.

I just called them and the person I got on the phone talked about sending them back with a note explaning what happend.

I do like those slipcovers, along with them being in mint condition, and these were a bit folded, one in half.

So they even replace DVD Slipcovers for the Out of Print DVDs like BaTB.

I'm shocked. I might buy a Used BatB off of Ebay and I just want to make sure I can just call disney and ask them to replace it (without telling them I bought it on Ebay lol) so its more like brand new

So I won't tell you to tell Disney that you DID have a BATB Slipcover and need to get it replaced because yours is damaged...

I called for a replacement DVD slipcover because mine was ripped and all (recently came from ebay) and they said they do have 6 Beauty and the Beast Slipcovers but the lady said for some reason she cant send me it or something. u should try calling before u bid.

by the way, i never told her i already had a cover even though it's ripped and all

I dont even think the item im lookin at on ebay even comes with the SlipCover. but he shows a picture of Disc 1 itself and I looked at my lion king dvd and all of the stuff on a REAL disney dvd are there so ya its used but as long as the discs play and are for real, I'm fine with the item, and If I can get a slipcover and replace the cover art for free, Why not right?

I called and they are sending me a Beauty & the Beast slipcover, I may end up w/2, if I do I will post it here.

They are also sending Finding Nemo and Mary Poppins.

im so impatient. i want my Lion King 1 1/2 slipcover now so my Lion King Trilogy won't look so ugly.


hmmm...i was wondering, if they replace the Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box Slipcover, would they send me one for the Lion King Trilogy ??? Possibly ???
