I would like this.

Josh Gad was on tonights episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher"promoting the movie and talking about the controversies surrounding it. Also his work for USA Today.

The Queen of Arendelle, while pregnant with Elsa, began to drink a special tea made from tulips, and consumed this magic moon tulip. Actually, it should be a snowdrop.

I wouldn't mind a short/mini-movie about Elsa as a child, but I thought would be more about how she first discovered she had powers, not so much how she got her powers... I prefer the film that she's just born with it, without any real explanation.

And I remember comparing Elsa's powers to Rapunzel's back when the movie was still developing, but everybody thought I was being negative. Why not a moondrop?

Haven't really paid attention to that event since I was in eighth grade.

Q: Is there a possibility of a mini-sequel like how Tangled did the wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider?

Jennifer Lee: Anything's possible. I guess you could say.

Chris Buck: We could do anything. Olaf? Olaf short? Something like that? I don't know. I love Olaf.

Jennifer Lee: I think Anna.

I definitely rather want a Elsa short that explains her powers or what she did in the palace before Anna finds her

Those shorts seem much like filler to me. The Tangled was all about the animals while the main characters sat in the background for most of the short.

So i think an Olaf/Sven mini adventure will be the most likely scenario. But considering Elsa's a cash-cow, surely they'll exploit her to sell more dolls. :)

To each their own, but I still don't get why people have a problem with Elsa's powers not being explained but have no issue with Hermione Granger having magic despite being born to Muggles. But I haven't read the books, only seen the movies, so perhaps, I'm being a bit ignorant.

It's not just that.. There is simply no need for the explanation!
No where in the story do they try to find out where her powers come from and the plot doesn't revolve around that.
Her story was about her learning to control them.

So in a way, it's like asking:
Why are there Mermaids in The Little Mermaid?
Why is there an enchantress in Beauty and the Beast?
Why is there a Lamp and magic in Aladdin? EXPLAIN!
Why is there a fairy godmother in Cinderella?
Where did the blue fairy come from?

It's the KCA's which seem pretty rigged at times so you never know. I mean, Adam sandler seems to win an award every year. Are we really to believe kids love Adam that much? He hasn't been in anything decent in over a decade. If Nick wanted to promote some other movie I could see them going for that instead.

But its over now, a win's a win.
