I've mentioned this elsewhere, but Frozen's success feels completely genuine to me. When older audiences went to see The Princess and the Frog and Tangled, they usually came out gushing about how these films reminded them of their favorite Disney movies from childhood. With Frozen, people just talk about how much they enjoy it, period. Not compare to any other Disney fairy tale, but as its own movie.

Looks like the Arabic version of Let it Go is out..
And I am so incredibly disappointed.
I'm just trying to overcome the horribleness that is this translation...
will explain later if people are interested.

Now to assure you, I don't necessary hate 3d CGI animation and I'm glad Frozen won for best animated feature. I'm upset that Get A Horse lost, but not on Frozen winning two awards. I'm upset that Get A Horse didn't win is not because of hand drawn, I just Mickey Mouse to win, that's all. You know, I have to admit, even though I'm still waiting for Disney to do another hand drawn animated movie, but thank God I'm not like this guy.
People are entitled to their own opinion.

Let's just stay that the line "That perfect girl is gone" has been translated to "I've lost my innocence"
And the translated word for innocence is associated with you know what. It perfectly complements the general idea that feminists have over Elsa's transformation.

The last Let it Gos have been translated to:
"It's not coming back, It's not coming back"
but in arabic verbage it could be a male oriented "coming back"
So she could be saying: "He's not coming back, he's not coming back, I've lost my innocence"
And that's how you know they accidentally thought Elsa was Fantine.

Thankfully they didn't have Elsa be required to have an ice-making machine follow her around that later causes a natural disaster because it fell in a river though.

Nevermind Secret of the Wings. Zarina from The Pirate Fairy really reminded me of Elsa, what with her unintenionally causing an accident, running away, "letting it go" and becoming a badass leader.

I can see that. But my point was thankfully they ironed the story out so it wasn't as silly.

but she was gone when winter caaaaaaaame
Oh god that song fits Anna and Elsa relationship. Well actually that song fits everything

Eva Bella (voice of young Elsa) said in an interview that there may be a Frozen short, possibly focusing on how Elsa first got her powers.

Ok, against everyone, I say I wouldn't like that idea. She was born with it. I mean, they could show something that happened to the queen during her pregnancy, but still, I just accepted the idea she had born with it and that was just the way it was, like the fairy godmother just appears, and just has magical powers, like the blue fairy just appears, like Ursula just having powers. Like artistic people that sometimes just have that something that makes the unique and special, like a good voice or great painting skills, or any skill. But meh, it'll be more Frozen so welcome.

There was once a white tulip that got fertilized by a chunk of the moon on a cold Winter eve. Despite all odds, it lasted until Spring time. The Queen of Arendelle, while pregnant with Elsa, began to drink a special tea made from tulips, and consumed this magic moon tulip. When Elsa was born the next Winter, she inherited the moon's power to control the cold.
