I finally got the
Herbie The Love Bug collection! Oh yes.

I'm happy even though I find that not a lot of time detail went into this DVD release and if there was a lot of time then they should fire the people who put it together.
I'm a very self-depreciating/ low self esteem person who thinks everything I do is a mistake and never am satisfied so this is a bit odd... but I believe I could have done a much, much better job putting it together than what they have.
Anyways I got it even though I'm really not happy with Best Buy YET AGAIN. The packaging was a bit damaged and the plastic wrapping was shredded and falling off so I asked them if they had another copy in the back like I did with '24' season two. Well they took it and brought out what I thought was a new copy. I made an error. I was so caught up in finding Zatoichi that I never looked over the new copy they just handed me. Maybe I was just tired since they were in the back for 15 minutes (not exagerating) to get a new copy.
Well I paid for it and got home. It turns out they only rewrapped it. They never had another copy in the back like they did with 24. They even brought it out and said they had another copy but did not tell me.
augh.
Anyways I also finally got
Zatoichi. I love that movie. I don't know about any of the early Zatoichi. I know it exists in movies or a tv show or whatever but I'm not caring right now except for the new/ remake version which I really like.

Perhaps the best deal I found concerning Disney DVDs, but I got WDT: Tomorrowland for only EIGHT DOLLARS AND SEVENTY-EIGHT CENTS!!! The only thing "damaged" about it was that it was unwrapped. Everything else was perfect.
Gotta love Cast Connection and their 75% discounts.

Final Destination 2
I liked that movie a LOT when I rented it and thought of buying it. Very cool.
Well, since none of my friends has watched it.... and there are no DVDs I want now except for Resident Evil 2, I went to Wal Mart to get it. The last one.

There were several posts lost in this thread, and I have some of those lost posts saved and am posting them here. It should be easy enough to remember what you put in this thread of all places, fortunately.

I got all four Disney movies offered in the 2 for $30 sale at HMV yesterday...
The Rescuers
The Rescuers Down Under
The Great Mouse Detective
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
I'm wondering why these are going on sale. Maybe they'll do a 10th anniversary of The Hunchback of Notre Dame next year? Plus maybe Disney is planning on releasing some of these in blu-ray.
IT'll be interesting to see which titles they pick. I have my guesses.

After passing on The Aristocats when seeing how expensive it was at Best Buy and other stores, I found a sealed copy at some hippie music store at the beach for $14.99. So I got it, even though the plastic wrap smells like salt water mixed with weed.

The other night I ordered
Brother Bear on PLAY USA for £13.99. I suppose it was a better bet to do that then to buy the UK edition, what with a slightly cheaper price tag plus more bonus features and the film displayed in its original aspect ratio. I'm not too fond on fake widescreen.

As we speak, a friend of mine is on vacation in the US and is searching for my 2 Disk Brother Bear DVD. Lets hope she finds it! I've also ordered Bambi. It is due in about 16 days!

Got, on Saturday, Wonderfalls: The Complete Series ... in the mail, via Amazon. It's a quirky, perfect show. There are only 13 episodes, but they're wonderful to watch. And the main character reminds me of myself, personality-wise. This was a blind buy for me, but I knew I would like it, so ...

That reminds me! I gotta add more romance to our DVD collection!
