This past ep was just okay. It was worth watching to see Pat Carroll's character appear again. But that's fine, because next episode looks like it'll be really good with the return to the tower. I still feel like something's going to come up about Cassandra re:Gothel because of their similar appearances.

I've only seen Elena once, I think, and I don't remember the characters to comment. I think Varian is really cute though. I just wish his return episode hadn't centered on his crush. I would have liked to see him interact with Rapunzel/Flynn more.

@justcuttinhair: I agree, it's a pretty good children's show and the look of the characters is one of my favorite things about it. I like that they've been building a "community" of characters that recur. This show's made me appreciate the original film more, particularly Flynn. I remember the Aladdin show similarly made Jasmine more likable. I wonder if I'll have the same reaction to the BH6 show? One thing in its favor is that it'll likely give more focus to the group members whereas the film revolved 90% around Hiro (who I didn't like).

Looks like they solved Cassie's crossdressing problem. She just wears a dress now all the time with that scarf thing on her head.

Her character was great. I was also surprised to see her again, I don't know why I thought she'd only be in that short. I also loved the look Rapunzel and Monty give each other when they first meet in this episode. They don't forget they dislike each other.

The next episode looks really interesting. And they've just announced a new one called Big Brothers of Corona for October 1, so I guess that after Pascal's Story there won't be new episodes until then.

I had to catch "Pascal's Story" on repeat. I thought it was a cute episode. For some reason I expected there to be a Gothel cameo, but nope. Wasn't she shown in some pre-season advertisement? Or has she already shown up before and I forgot?

^ Yes, she already appeared in the first episode after Tangled: Before Ever After. She was in a nightmare Rapunzel had.

The preview of this latest episode also made me expect there would be more new reveals, but it was nice. I liked they gave more screen time to Pascal on this occasion, and that they explored his relationship with Rapunzel.
