Disney's Divinity wrote:Yes, and Nomura's also said that Kingdom Hearts will always be Sora's story. Which is good, because I have no interest in a KH without Sora and Riku involved, especially with the PIXAR takeover happening with this franchise, too.

Hopefully Atlantica and Agrabah make it into KH4-onwards, because I'd like to see those films depicted with the new graphics and a Giant Ursula battle with flowmotion involved. I know we have the Ariel summon, but I'd like more than that, even if Atlantica would feel off without Kenneth Mars... :(
So, I'm guessing that no new traditional animated Disney films like Treasure Planet, Atlantis The Lost Empire, or something to that effect? Just Pixar stuff, newer properties, save for Hercules and Winnie the pooh? What's been announced is it?

Looks like it. :( I've been very disappointed / irritated this week after the past two trailers, since it looks like there are most likely no more Disney worlds to be announced. I thought for sure there would 1, maybe 2, more to be announced. 8 Disney worlds seems pathetic for a title on the main console. And there are really only 2 movies I actually love out of these bunch (Hercules/Frozen). But Tangled's okay, I guess, and Toy Story / Monsters, Inc. are a few of the few PIXAR films I don't hate...

I just feel very letdown the past week. Especially after 3D's worlds featured Pinocchio, Fantasia, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. And it looks less likely now that even Radiant Garden (one of the only original worlds I cared about) will appear. I was hoping we might finally see the castle from KH1 again, fully restored. KH3 without Squall/Leon, Yuffie, Cloud, etc. just doesn't feel right.

Sadly, that's right, there are no more new Disney levels being announced between now and the 25th (when the game is released in Japan before coming here four days later), as this video explains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY9uWFsTa8o.

For reference, the full list of levels is as follows:

Disney levels:
-Toy Box (Toy Story)
-Olympus (Hercules)
-Kingdom of Corona (Tangled)
-San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6)
-Monstropolis (Monsters, Inc.)
-Arendelle (Frozen)
-The Caribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean)
-100 Acre Wood (Winnie the Pooh)

Non-Disney levels:
-Twilight Town/Mysterious Tower
-Realm of Darkness
-Keyblade Graveyard
-Scalia Ad Caelum

Again, I don't understand why they couldn't just call it "Port Royal" instead of "The Caribbean". I also would like to know what happened to Classic Kingdom, the set of Game-&-Watch-type levels themed to old Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Yeah, there are a huge amount of spoilers out there now because of leaks. I've read most of them because spoilers don't bother me. *shrug*

I'm still looking forward to the game, but I'm still really pissed that Radiant Garden and the Final Fantasy characters aren't in this game + only 8 Disney worlds. Radiant Garden didn't even have to be large (although I would've wanted that  ); apparently most all of the original locations are small in KH3, for some reason.

Not gonna bother if it isn't on PC or Switch. I am not buying a new system just to play one game.

Well, it looks like today's the day that the game is finally released! In Japan, granted, but it's still out. In four days, the game will be released in the U.S.!

I don't consider this is a spoiler, but... For the people wondering about Rapunzel's voice earlier in the thread:

Mandy Moore did not return to voice the character, sadly. Funny since she was in the first KH game as a Final Fantasy character.

Who does her voice then?

Really? I just watched all of the Tangled cutscenes. I swear some of Rapunzel's dialogue is ripped from Mandy Moore in Tangled. Or Kelsey is really really spot-on :o

One of the things I wanted to know most of all was all the Classic Kingdom Game-and-Watch-type games, all based on various old Mickey cartoons. The list of games (and where to find them) can be found here (although the full list of games is not yet available): https://twinfinite.net/2019/01/kingdom- ... minigames/

The games are based off of black-and-white Mickey cartoons. One game is pertaining to golf, but I don't remember any black-and-white cartoons where Mickey golfed. I remember a cartoon where he does play golf, but that's not until long after the move to color (in "Canine Caddy" with Pluto). Not only that, but the name of the game is called "How To Play Golf", which is the name of a Goofy cartoon. Also, another game is called "Mickey's Circus", which is named after a cartoon that was also released after the black-and-white era, in 1936. What's going on?

Oh my gosh no way !!! I wonder why she didn't come back ? Especially when she has done pretty much everything else, including the TV series etc.

I wonder as she is in 'This Is Us' now and getting award nominations etc she will slowly peel away from voicing the character. I hope not, but seems probable if she didn't come back for this nor the Princess comic.

So Mandy Moore is not voicing Rapunzel in the comics, either? I thought it was her.

No, it isn’t her ... a good sound alike though ! Would think it’s the same voice actress as for here as well. I wonder if she’s given up the role ?

I doubt it. Otherwise she wouldn't be doing her in that "Tangled" series or in the second Wreck-It Ralph movie.

And let's not forget Mandy is very protective of Rapunzel. She had second thoughts of doing the TV show because she was worried how Rapunzel will be portrayed

This game was SOOOO gooooood. OMG I loved it. This series has been up, down, and all over the place both plot-wise and quality-wise. I wasn't even excited with most of the films chosen for this game or the low number of Disney worlds, but I still loved it... The only world I was disappointed by--surprisingly--was the Tangled world. Maybe I might like it more when I re-play the game, but it seemed like a scene-for-scene rehash of the movie down to the detail. They didn't really change much of anything. The Frozen world rehashes the movie, too, but at least Sora, Donald, and Goofy are at a distance doing other things.

So I was looking at a YouTube video on the Classic Kingdom Game-and-Watch-style minigames. Most of them are based around old black-and-white Mickey Mouse cartoons, but a few of them seem to not be. There is at least one called "Mickey's Circus", which was made in color. And there are at least two sports-related ones that were also not made in the black-and-white era. One is about golf. There was a cartoon where Mickey went golfing, but that was in the color period as well ("Canine Caddy"). And the game's title? "How To Play Golf", which is the title of a Goofy cartoon.

The other sports game which is not based off of a black-and-white Mickey short is about baseball, in which you apparently "challenge Pete's team to America's pastime". The title of this game? "How To Play Baseball", also the title of a Goofy cartoon.
