1. Am I to understand that the DMR code is the same one on each DVD per title? So if I had already submitted those codes for a few titles to the site I would still be able to offer them to people who are looking for codes on those titles?

2. Is there a way to determine how many points each of my Disney DVDs have or is worth before I officially submit the codes?

1 - DMR codes are all different (ie random). The codes themselves will be specific to a title, but will not be the same. You can enter multiple codes for a title, but you cannot enter multiple codes for a title in a specific format (example - you can enter a code for Snow White in DVD, then enter a code for Snow White in Blu-ray, but you cannot enter codes for two Snow White DVDs).

2 - I think there is a section on the DMR site that gives you the point breakdown per title, per format.

Just ordered the cast signed poster and CD from Wizards of Waverly Place for my daughters. Hopefully it will come in time for Christmas.

On the DMR site, if you go to "How it Works" and then click on "Eligible Titles" then on the right, click on "All Eigible Titles" a list comes up with all eligible titles and their points value. Usually the breakdown is like this:
125 points = Blu-Rays, Blu-Ray/DVD Combos, WDT sets
100 points = DVDs and 2-Disc DVDs
75 points = older movies
50 points = movie ticket stubs (to a maximum of 4)
50 points = music CDs
5 points = monthly newletters or promos (points could also be other values like 10 points as was for Halloween)

Okay...so if I already submitted codes for Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio in standard format, I can also submit codes for these films in Blu Ray format correct?

And...if I already submitted a code for say...my DVD of 101 Dalmations...would I be able to offer that code to someone who may be looking for a 101 Dalmations code or will the code no longer be valid?

Thanks for that info...I guess this leads me to look into two more things:

1. What those "older movies" are that are worth only 75 points
2. The codes on ticket stubs (Do they appear on EVERY ticket no matter what theater you go to? OR Do have to purchase the tickets from a certain theater chain or website like Fandango?)

The ticket stubs don't have codes. On the DMR website, under "How it Works" click on "Redeem Movie Points". From a drop-down list you choose the movie you saw. Then enter the number of tickets you have (to a maximum of 4 for 200 points per movie). Then enter a line of text for security purposes. Then you click a link and it will generate a form with a bar code for you to print off. Then you just attach your ticket stubs to the form and mail it in.

Thanks, I dont remember if I threw away my ticket stub for Up or if it's buried in a pile in my closet somewhere We'll just haveta see.

I'm kind of upset about the points they gave for the newest Treasure Wave (Zorro). It's priced much higher than anything else and should have been at a minimum 150 points each. It's nice that they're included and I love having them but they should have been worth more.

ABC hasn't posted a Dec 5 code yet. Are they posting codes on the weekend?

Could someone please answer me about whether or not already submitted codes for a title can be given to someone who doesnt have that title? I need to know what codes I have that are tradeable before I start doing so and I want to get some trading done before the double points day.

I think this was answered clearly in the previous responses you got, but I'll take a shot: NO.

The codes are unique, although on rare occasion you'll enter a code and it'll ask you which of two titles it is. Means the code was originally for an older title, then got recycled (either by accident or because it wasn't used for a few years). So there are potentially tens of thousands of unique codes for every title in the Disney catalogue, and once it's used you cannot give it to someone else -- the database will recognize that it's already been used.

If you want to trade codes and use them yourself, you need at least two copies of the same title in that format.
