Phil of the Future was AWESOME! I love Aly & AJ, too- I remember when Aly sang on the show for the first time, I was hoping she'd have a music career! (I actually jammed out to Aly & AJ today when I was working! <3 Love them.) I liked Cory in the House as well; not quite as much as That's So Raven, but it had its funny moments.

I watched all of Coop & Cami Ask the World when I first got Disney+, and I really liked it. That's the only new Disney Channel show that I've seen so far, (besides a few episodes of Tangled: The Series), but eventually I'd like to see them all.

I love the show Jessie- I think it has a lot of funny characters. And Liv and Maddie is great, too- I still had cable when that show started. I think Dove Cameron has a great voice, and the show was funny, too. Good Luck Charlie is one of the best Disney Channel shows; I appreciate that the parents aren't doofuses, that they play an important part in the show. I used to watch A.N.T. Farm a lot.

As far as show from a couple decades ago (OMG), American Dragon: Jake Long was a big favorite of mine. Kim Possible, Phineas & Ferb, Even Stevens, + Lizzie McGuire are absolutely classic. That's So Raven, Life With Derek, and The Suite Life I really enjoyed, too. Wizards of Waverly Place I think is a clever show. I think that Harper is one of the best Disney Channel sidekicks- I liked her & Alex's friendship. I didn't love it, but I liked The Jersey enough to watch it regularly. Obviously as a huge Jonas Brothers fan, I think that JONAS was the best thing since sliced bread. I still like watching that, I love the songs that JB now cringe at, like Pizza Girl and Scandinavia. The show was less cringy for lack of a better word in season 2, but I love it all. And don't forget As the Bell Rings (Demi was only in the first season).

Sorry, those are all my posts. There were several messages I needed to respond to with lengthy posts of my own so it felt more appropriate to do a single post for each rather than jumble them all together in one post.

I'm sure Jason Dolley is a really nice guy in real life, I just didn't care for the typecast role the Disney Channel seemed to love giving him. I remember in Minute Men, he actually played the lead protagonist which was a nice change from his usual staple of roles. I'm guessing the film wasn't popular enough for them to consider a similar role for Jason to reprise. That's so neat that you've interviewed him before! I just looked him up on Google and he looks so different now. It's so surreal to see these actors look older when we've regularly seen them on TV looking the exact same way for years.

I still listen to Aly and AJ's old songs a lot! I know they've recently revived their career and created some new songs but I haven't heard them yet. Speaking of Cory in the House, does anybody know if Cory ever reprised his role in Raven's Home? It would be strange if he got his own spinoff but never showed up ever again in the new spinoff.

I haven't seen Coop & Cami besides excerpts from what my sisters watch on TV and I can't say I'd really like it very much. There's currently one about a single dad and his daughter and mother which is decent enough for me to be able to watch although I don't quite love it.

I didn't care much for Liv and Maddie but I do find Dove Cameron to be talented enough although I prefer Sofia Carson. The parents were definitely one of the best parts about Good Luck Charlie. I loved the mother! I could have watched a spinoff show just with her. I used to somewhat watch Ant Farm because it was better than most of the other Disney Channel shows on at the time, at least to me. My favorite part of the show was Lexi, the "evil" blonde cheerleader and her dumb friend Paisley. I really like how she wasn't the typical one-dimensional antagonist.

I forgot about the animated shows like Jake Long and Kim Possible. I was especially partial to the latter and I also loved Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Life With Derek is one of my absolute favorites! I was hoping someone else would mention it before I did. That's another show which I didn't realize so many people shipped the two lead characters together even though they played step-siblings. I've heard rumors they were even a couple in real life and apparently their chemistry was so strong that the show was cancelled because they didn't want to promote incest although I don't know how true that is. I have heard though that Derek and Casey's actors both wanted their characters to end up together though and there was this whole spinoff show/film planned. I really would love a reunion one of these days. It took me forever to realize this was a Canadian show which Disney Channel was airing but they didn't actually make it which probably explains why the quality was so much better than so many other Disney Channel shows lol. I have a Canadian friend who said that practically every Life With Derek actor ended up on Degrassi. They really need to add Life With Derek onto Disney+ pronto.

I've never heard of The Jersey. For that matter, I have no memory whatsoever of As the Bell Rings and I had no idea Demi was on it. I looked it up and it's definitely from the time period that I watched the Disney Channel religiously so I don't know why I don't remember it. TBH, I was not a Jonas Brothers fan at all. Which is ironic since I was a huge Camp Rock fan but I couldn't really stand them together as a trio so JONAS is a show I avoided like the plague. It's generally considered to be one of the worst Disney Channel shows online althoug I know people said the second season had a huge revamp and was a bit better or tried to be anyway. I'm still shocked that back then a show with all three Jonas Brothers ended up getting cancelled.

BTW do we have a thread like this for Disney Channel Original Movies? Or could we just discuss those here as well?

I've heard not everything but some of their new stuff- I downloaded some, and the rest is in my Amazon wish list. It's a little more eletronica-pop, but Insomniatic was headed in that direction, anyway. I'll always adore their old stuff the most, but their new stuff is good, too.

As the Bell Rings was just a short show they had between shows, but I remember Demi singing on it (like I remember Aly singing on PotF), hoping she'd have a career. They had a new girl for season 2, and season 2 wasn't as good as the first, but I still liked it. The Jo Bros were getting older and didn't want to continue doing kiddie stuff. A few years ago, Joe did an interview where he talked about having to shave daily since he was playing a teenager when he was in his 20s.

...I was hoping for a new post! But I will double post about the DCOMs (sorry!):

So like I have said, I'm old now so I remember pre-DCOM days. Another young obsession of mine was Mother Goose Rock'n'Rhyme!!! I was SO OBSESSED with that- it was the greatest thing ever (please YouTube it if you're not familiar with it!) The Parent Trap II & III & Hawaiian Honeyoon were really fun. Perfect Harmony was really, really good. Heidi was epic (so I was at my grandparents' house watching it, and my aunt and grandmother cried, and I didn't understand why grownups cry at movies, and now I'm the biggest baby when it comes to crying at movies!). Ooh, Wish Upon a Star was really, really good.

Now the DCOMs: I still have not seen all the DCOMs. Brink! was everything- that movie constantly played, and it was so epic, so '90s, oh I love it! I didn't even see the Halloweentown movies until I was older, and still to this day, I've never seen them in their entirety, but I think they're pretty good; not my favorites, but pretty good. The 3 Zenon movies were also EVERYTHING- I have bootlegs (shhh) of those on DVD. So, so good. Oh, and Smart House is another epic one. The Color of Friendship was a powerful movie, very important, very well-made. Not as epic as the others I mentioned, but really good. Same with Tru Confessions. MIRACLE IN LANE 2--- So I had a huge crush on Frankie Muniz (still do), so of course I loved this so much; and it's a good movie anyway. Stuck in the Suburbs I also have a bootleg (shhh) of, and that is absolutely one of the best DCOMs ever--- I love it so much (it deals with pop music, so duh).

Rip Girls, Cadet Kelly, Get a Clue: 3 absolute classics!!!!!

I watched them all umteenth times, and while I don't like them quite as much as the ones I mentioned above, I would watch them all the time, since they played all the time, and I liked them: The Thirteenth Year, Johnny Tsunami, Genius, Alley Cats Strike, Stepsister from Planet Weird, Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire, Phantom of the Megaplex, The Ultimate Christmas Present, Motocrossed, The Luck of the Irish, Double Teamed, Gotta Kick It Up!, You Wish, Eddie's Million-Dollar Cook-Off, Pixel Perfect

Now getting to "newer" ones, 2005 onward (I was in my early 20s):

High School Musical gives me life, it always will, I will forever be obsessed with HSM. For you guys that were not members of the forum "back in the day," Corbin Bleu is my biggest celebrity crush, I think he is so talented (and he's handsome <3), super nice guy (I didn't interview him for this site- I wanted to!- but I spoke with him on the phone since there was a 'thing' where celebrities had phone numbers you could call, and he called me back!), and I've been following his Broadway career since. I love everything about HSM. Sharpay is my favorite character. I sing songs from all the HSMs, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure and/or HSM:TM:TS daily. OBSESSED. (Speaking of HSM:TM:TS, I can't wait for Season 2- I love that show SO MUCH! And the music is SO GOOD!!! Ashlyn + Big Red for life.)

Camp Rock: Like I said, I love Jonas Brothers and Demi, so duh, I love these movies too. Not as much as HSM, but these are fun movies with really good soundtracks.

Teen Beach Movie/Teen Beach 2: I like these as well. (Jordan Fisher = <3). Really fun songs. I'm a '50s and '60s music fan, so the throwback makes me happy.

While I like them less than HSM, I still really love The Cheetah Girls. I jam out to these soundtracks a lot, too!

Princess Protection Program and Starstruck are two of my favorites, as well (one has Demi, the other has pop music). I still like watching these ones a lot. (And I've always liked Selena Gomez- I didn't mention it earlier. Demi > Miley > Selena always for me, but I do like her.)

Cow Belles is great (we already talked about our love of Aly & AJ <3). I watched it recently, and it's just as fun as it was when it came out. And of course Jump In! is absolutely amazing.

Wendy Wu, Read It And Weep, Johnny Kapahala, Minutemen: I used to watch these a lot, too- really good movies.

Dadnapped, Hatching Pete: These came in the same DVD box, and because I did interviews for this site, I got this, and I think Hatching Pete is the better movie by far. Dadnapped isn't bad, but Hatching Pete is a pretty good movie.

Geek Charming- I hate that Matt Prokop turned out to be an abusive man, because that does color me when watching this- he plays a minor part in HSM3 and Sharpay outshines him, so he doesn't ruin HSM for me- but I really like this movie.

Radio Rebel is really good- I like Debby Ryan, and it has a decent story. And besides what I mentioned above, that's it as far as DCOMs I've seen (besides Tangled Before Ever After).

I have heard some Decendants songs...I KNOW Kenny Ortega directed these, so I KNOW I should give it a chance. But for the same reason I can't get into OUAT & the live-action remakes...besides the kids, these aren't the characters I know... But with Disney+, I'll eventually maybe give them a chance. I like a few songs that I've heard, but others seem super cringy (Like Be Our Guest).

Okay, if we're talking about Wonderful World of Disney movies:

R&H's Cinderella: I love all iterations of this, from Lesley Ann Warren to Brandy to Broadway. I adore the songs in this show. The Brandy version was not the first I had seen, but I've always been a Brandy fan- it's a great movie.

My Date With the President's Daughter: Another one I (shhh) have a bootleg DVD of. Such a fun, fun, '90s movie!!! And Will Friedele is always great.

Annie: I have seen this, I have the soundtrack...It's not too different from the 1982 Annie, which I've always adored, so it's good, but it's not too different...

Life-Size is such a fun, classic movie, and Model Behavior is great as well (Justin Timberlake makes it even better!).

Such a different kind of movie, but Anne Frank: The Whole Story- I was 15 or 16 when it came out, and I'm pretty sure I was taking US History that year...this made me cry more than any movie since The Land Before Time when this came out. It was extremely moving. I haven't seen it since, and I really don't want to, because it's pretty heavy, but a very important movie, and I'm glad I saw it when I did.

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth: I have this on DVD, and it's a Disney-made Disney documentary, covering a lot of ground in Walt's life. It's a nice overview of Walt.

The Muppets' Wizard of Oz: I'm a HUGE Muppets fan, and a huge Oz fan, and this is my least favorite Muppets movie. I need to give it another chance, though.

I'll need to check out Aly and AJ's new songs then if you recommed them. I'm sure I'll love them!

Not to mention Derek dated Casey's cousin in an early Season 1 episode and she had a strong resemblance to her cousin. And hey, if the actors shipped them together, why not.

I used to watch Naturally Sadie as well! It was never a huge fav of mine but I did like how the supporting actress from that show ended up in Camp Rock as well. I've never actually seen Degrassi but I've always wanted to. It just has way too many episodes and seasons to catch up on now.

Thanks for explaining about The Jersey. That would have been a bit before my Disney Channel days and it definitely reminds me of a male version of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. That's a pity about the show's lead. He must have been so young.

And thanks for explaining As the Bell Rings. It's really funny I have no memory of that unless it just didn't leave an impact on me especially if I didn't know who Demi was back then. I didn't realize the Jonas Brothers stopped their show because they wanted to move onto more mature stuff. I wonder if Kevin was married at this point or not.

So glad we can discuss DCOMs here! They fit pretty well in the topic considering how much of an overlap there was between the shows and the films with the actors.

Brink is one I was never a big fan of. I'm not into sports films and I only caught it once because it happened to be on the Disney Channel so I was stuck watching it. I did like the lead actor as the cute but despicable guy in The Princess Diaries.

I love the Halloweentown films! And even though I'm not a fan of the recasting in the fourth one and the lack of Debbie Reynolds, I generally liked the last film as well and at least the rest of the cast was back. I really wish they would do more films in this series with the original cast, emphasis on original, although it wouldn't be the same without Grandma Aggie.

I love Smart House and think the main actor is cute especially after seeing him in Pretty Little Liars.

Zenon is ironically a trilogy that I haven't fully watched. I've seen the first one multiple times but never the other two. I always wanted to watch them but I always missed them when they aired on Disney Channel. I need to remedy that now with Disney+.

The Color of Friendship is a film I always wanted to watch because there was so much hype for it and when I finally did get a chance, I did like it but felt strangely underwhelmed probably because of how high my expectations were. I feel like I would appreciate it more now since I never rewatched it since.

Never saw Tru Confessions or Miracle in Lane 2. Wasn't a huge Shia LaBeouf back then so never had an interest in his films. I never saw Frankie Muniz (or frankly Amanda Bynes) in much besides Big Fat Liar because Disney Channel used to air that constantly. I do think he's super cute as well though and I saw a bit of him on Dancing with the Stars recently when he was on that show.

Stuck in the Suburbs is probably my favorite DCOM either! I love Brenda Song and the glamorous role she played here but I've always been a huge fan of Danielle Panabaker since this film. The songs were great too! I wish this film got an official DVD release and I was always planning on purchasing the film with a bootleg DVD but then Disney+ came out.

Rip Girls is another one I never watched because it was too "sporty" for my taste lol. I should give it a try though because I'm sure I would like it. Cadet Kelly is another favorite of mine and same with Get a Clue! I love Lindsay Lohan's older films and she was one of my teen idols alongside Raven before Miley and Demi came into the picture. And of course, Brenda Song is in Get a Clue as well! I also loved Christy Carlson Romano in Cadet Kelly and I was recently watching a video of hers on YouTube where she watches some scenes from the film and comments on them.

I've seen pretty much all those films you listed which you watched all the time since like you said, they were constantly on. The Halloween ones especially used to constantly air in October and I was quite a fan of those as weird and zany as they could be. Phantom of the Megaplex I just rewatched last night because I used to love this the most out of the Halloween films and I still loved it. It has more value now that I know who Mickey Rooney actually is lol. Gotta Kick It Up was another film that I could deeply appreciate more now that I realized who Susan Egan really is and especially since America Ferrera has become so famous since then. The Ultimate Christmas Present gets props for also featuring Brenda Song and, if it isn't obvious yet, I absolutely adore her. I need to rewatch Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire, it's in my Disney+ queue.

Pixel Perfect was my other all-time favorite film besides Stuck in the Suburbs! Another film I bemoaned the fact that there was no DVD for and Disney+ is the only reason I didn't get a bootleg. I love the songs in this film and the three main leads.

HSM was the pinnacle of DCOM films to this day and I was obsessed with the first film as well. I haven't been as huge a fan in recent years so I would probably fail that trivia game they showed in HSM:TM:TS now but I used to own a DVD trivia game for it back when it came out. That's so cool that you actually got to talk to Corbin Bleu! That's so amazing! My celebrity crush was Zac Efron back then and I remember I loved Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet because Romeo was a Zac Efron look-alike and everyone was over the moon about that when we saw it in high school freshmen year English. I can't wait for Season 2 of HSM:TM:TS as well! And like you, Sharpay was my favorite character. I always wanted her and Troy to end up together even if that was never going to be the case but I've really been glad to hear that in recent years, Sharpay's character has been vindicated on social media.

Camp Rock I loved basically the same amount as I loved High School Musical. I adored Demi and was so glad when she got her own Disney Channel show. I loved Mitchie and Tess both and I'm glad they didn't try and make Tess the villain in the sequel like they constantly did in HSM with Sharpay always playing an antagonistic role. That got tired quick. Camp Rock 2 wasn't as good though but I would have liked a third film.

I'm okay with the Teen Beach Movies. They were after my Disney Channel days so I've never seen them in full but I've pretty much seen the first one in its entirety and I do like it.

I loved Raven so I was always a Cheetah Girls fan but not enough to watch the group play musically since Raven was never included. 1 definitely feels like a very different film from 2 and 3 and 3 I barely rewatch since it doesn't include Raven and feels like a cashgrab. I adore the songs from these films, particularly the first two. The third one doesn't have as many good songs imo or at least not as catchy.

Princess Protection Program is fine. I liked the Demi parts but Selena's character was a little annoying and I was more interested in Demi's royal life. Starstruck is strangely a film I never cared for and I've only seen once, despite really liking Sterling Knight. Two of my friends told me though that this film has a huge following online and fans actually go to the places where the film was shot so I never realized this film was so well liked. I should maybe rewatch it and see if I like it more now.

Cow Belles was definitely great and came out in the era of the best DCOM films imo (HSM, Cheetah Girls, Jump In, Read it and Weep, Wendy Wu, Twitches, etc.) This was when all the big Disney Channel actors had their own films. Jump In! I loved and started my following of Keke Palmer who I think is an amazing singer. Wendy Wu was great of course and a film I need to rewatch because I haven't seen it in years.

Read It and Weep I loved for the Panabaker sisters. I forgot Jason Dolley was in this film as well although he didn't work for me as the love interest but I suppose that was sort of the point of his character. This film I was out of the country for when it aired so I was always super upset that I missed its premiere because I never missed DCOM premieres back then. I even made my family delay our road trip because Camp Rock was coming out and we weren't allowed to head off until I finished Camp Rock. Of course, they used to show the new film every night for the whole weekend so you can guess that in our hotel Saturday night I was rewatching Camp Rock! I showed it to my cousins when they visited as well and even though they weren't the Disney Channel type of fans, they did love the film so I was pretty pleased with that.

Minutemen was never a favorite of mine. I did like the film and would watch it whenever it aired but I wouldn't actively go out to watch it. I had a crush on the cheating boyfriend though and I think he became more famous on Teen Wolf later on.

Hatching Pete and Dadnapped were both films I didn't care for. I think they were when I was mostly done with the Disney Channel and Jason Dolley in general didn't appeal to me much as an actor so most of his roles/films weren't of much interest. Radio Rebel was one I probably would have liked more if I didn't associate Debby Ryan with Jessie so much which is a show I really can't stand.

I never saw Geek Charming but I had no idea what Matt Prokop was up to. That's horrifying especially since didn't he and Sarah Hyland become a couple from this film?

I've seen bits from Descendants but the songs I don't find to be up to the same quality as the HSM ones and the only actor I really like is Sofia Carson who I'd rather watch in other projects. I did like the portrayal of Aurora's daughter in the final film though and her song I would actually gladly listen to.

Okay, if we're talking about Wonderful World of Disney movies:

R&H's Cinderella: I love all iterations of this, from Lesley Ann Warren to Brandy to Broadway. I adore the songs in this show. The Brandy version was not the first I had seen, but I've always been a Brandy fan- it's a great movie.

My Date With the President's Daughter: Another one I (shhh) have a bootleg DVD of. Such a fun, fun, '90s movie!!! And Will Friedele is always great.

Annie: I have seen this, I have the soundtrack...It's not too different from the 1982 Annie, which I've always adored, so it's good, but it's not too different...

Life-Size is such a fun, classic movie, and Model Behavior is great as well (Justin Timberlake makes it even better!).

Such a different kind of movie, but Anne Frank: The Whole Story- I was 15 or 16 when it came out, and I'm pretty sure I was taking US History that year...this made me cry more than any movie since The Land Before Time when this came out. It was extremely moving. I haven't seen it since, and I really don't want to, because it's pretty heavy, but a very important movie, and I'm glad I saw it when I did.

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth: I have this on DVD, and it's a Disney-made Disney documentary, covering a lot of ground in Walt's life. It's a nice overview of Walt.

The Muppets' Wizard of Oz: I'm a HUGE Muppets fan, and a huge Oz fan, and this is my least favorite Muppets movie. I need to give it another chance, though.

You don't have to apologize, there are so many topics so it gets confusing keeping them all straight lol!

I love the Brandy version of Cinderella as well. Haven't seen it in ages and keep hoping it'll be on Disney+ or aired on TV sometime soon. I've been a Brandy fan ever since and it's the first version of the R+H Cinderella musical I've ever seen.

I think Seventeen Again featuring Tia and Tamera Mowry was from this branding as well but I always liked that one too. I remember the Disney Channel played it a lot but they censored one scene about contraceptives. Speaking of Tia and Tamera, I also loved the Twitches films which I didn't talk about much above. I loved the concept of magical twin princesses separated at birth and hidden away from the growing darkness in their realm, especially the sun/moon mythos.

Life-Size is so fun and I have yet to see the sequel. Another classic Lindsay Lohan movie and I'm so glad she has such a varied library of old films before she totally lost herself. Model Behavior I haven't seen in ages but I'm dying to! I need a DVD for this as well.

I'm not sure if Up, Up, and Away was a DCOM or under The Wonderful World of Disney branding but I always liked that one as well even as hilarious as the idea was that foil was their kryptonite.

Never seen the TV version of A Wrinkle in Time but that was my introduction to the series because they constantly showed commercials for it on the Disney Channel.

I haven't seen the rest of the films and documentaries you mentioned either. I didn't realize Disney ever made an Anne Frank film. I wonder if they would ever feature that on Disney+.

I did like Kim Possible. I wasn't in love with it, but I would watch it now and then. Usually, I would always tune into the beginning because the theme song was addictive, and then tune back out again. I also liked The Proud Family. I've never been a Jonas Bros fan; I only ever liked Nick Jonas, even back when they first started. I waited for him to go solo.

As for DCOMs, my favorites were Halloweentown (really just the first one, but the first sequel is alright), Horse Sense (I always loved Brotherly Love anyway, but the middle brother was always my favorite, not just because he was the one on Boy Meets World.), HSM, Zenon, Brink!, Smart House, Alley Cats Strike, The Luck of the Irish, and Motocrossed. I really liked the guy from Brink! The only other time I've ever seen him was when he appeared in The Princess Diaries, although he looked emaciated there for some reason. I think it's a shame he didn't go on to do anything else, like an ABC drama series or something. Can of Worms used to weird me out. I agree about Corbin Bleu as you probably remember. HSM2 was my favorite of the three. "I Don't Dance" had me shipping Chad and Ryan. I saved a few fics from back then. Speaking of Brotherly Love, I always liked Smart Guy, too, and that aired all the time on the Disney Channel for a time. It and Growing Pains. I always loved Tracy Gold and Joanna Kerns--and the Leonardo episodes!!! Those were the ones I always looked forward to. I was really saddened about what I've read about the behind-the-scenes of that show, about how Kirk Cameron treated everyone badly.

There was some movie, and I don't think it was a DCOM and it might even have aired on the channel before the tween takeover, that was about a group of friends who got zapped back in time to the dinosaur era... I can't remember much about it other than that. Another movie I used to love that would get on aired on the channel all the time (probably before it changed) was some movie about a group of kids who wished they had a different mother and got three choices for a Dream Mom from some lady in a garden. I don't know what the title for that was either.

Erik Von Detten was on the ABC shows Odd Man Out & Complete Savages & the Disney Channel Show So Weird. And he did a bunch of voice acting over the years.

I would agree that Lizzie is more relatable, and since that was more of the era I grew up in I think I prefer it, although it's very close. The Hannah movie (and the show in general) is lots of fun, and the music is very good, but definitely way less realistic than Lizzie (show and movie).

I don't think I even have the channels where they show Degrassi so that's probably out of the cards anyway. It's like Grey's Anatomy, another show that I've missed out on too long to catch up with now.

Was Malcolm in the Middle a Nickelodeon show? I was never a huge Nick fan although I watched the major shows like Drake and Josh, iCarly, and Zoey 101 which is one of my personal favorites.

DCOMs rarely get more than two films in a series anyway. The lone exceptions are HSM, Cheetah Girls, Zenon, Descendants, and Halloweentown which actually got four. Otherwise Twitches only ever had two, same with Teen Beach Movie, and Camp Rock of course. Like you said, it's very possible that Camp Rock would have gotten a third film had Demi not gone to rehab around that time since it was a franchise more comparable to HSM, Cheetah Girls, and even Descendants compared to anything else Disney has made. I would love a Camp Rock show but I think the same tone as HSM:TM:TS wouldn't work in this case. HSM was always very big about breaking the cliches and had some meta moments anyway but Camp Rock was never like that. Even if Demi didn't return, because I'm not sure about her current relationship with Disney, I feel like the rest of the cast members would be more than game to return.

I don't even remember a love story in Cheetah Girls 3 unless you mean the bride and groom? Something that always bothered me about the continuity of the films is that Chanel had a little brother in the first film who completely disappears in the second and he's not even mentioned. I completely forgot he even existed until I rewatched the first film recently and kept trying to figure out whose little brother that is.

True Jackson is another show I never watched because I rarely got into Nickelodeon shows. I was always surprised though that Disney allowed Nick to snatch Keke up.

Usually a quick google search can yield results for DVDs like that. A lot of the Disney TV series are included online as well. The only bootleg DVD I've ever purchased is Song of the South and I think it's the same one that's actually sold somewhere in the US. Can't remember what the place was but there was a thread about it here and Disney turns a blind eye to it apparently.

I used to watch Sister, Sister a little but that show was a bit before my time so I never saw too much of it.

I actually do have Tubi and I've seen Wish Upon a Star offered as a free movie on TV before so I'll have to get into it one day.

I've loved JB since their first (non-Disney) album; the day after (?) their 2nd album, first with Disney, came out, I met them at a radio station, and Kevin helped me with my camera, and ever since then he's been my favorite! Malcolm was on Fox (that's why I was hoping it'd be on Disney+!). I was thinking of finding an old Nick thread and bumping that up...I love iCarly just as much as any Disney show (it's so funny- PlutoTV has a few Nickelodeon channels, and the iCarly episode with FЯed was on just the other day, and my husband saw a few minutes and was like "What are you watching?!" SotS was never legally sold on home video in the US, but there are a bunch of bootlegs of it, some with decent quality. Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant.

Never really liked the DCOMs, although of course I watched Demi's. I didn't like the first Camp Rock at all. I thought it was kind of dry and basic, and I was disappointed to see that she only really got to sing at the end. I liked the second a bit better, as I thought it worked better as a musical, and Demi had some good stuff. I never liked the Jonas Brothers, though, and I still don't. Which is probably why I much preferred Princess Protection Program, even if the general concept behind it was dumb. Selena and Demi had good chemistry together and helped to balance things out well.

As for the cartoons, I always found Kim Possible a little overrated, but it was a good enough show. Kim was a little too perfect for me, and I got tired of Drakken and Shego being on the show all the time when I generally preferred the other villains, but it had good jokes and a unique design. I was a much bigger American Dragon fan, myself. I love dragons, so that was a big plus, and I really connected to Jake as a protagonist and his relationship with Rose. This was on around the same time as Avatar: TLA, and I thought it was a good compliment to it- not as strong, but it had a good balance of comedy and action to it. Plus Jake and Rose had the same VAs as Zuko and Katara, ha. Dave the Barbarian was also a fun show. I loved the voice cast on that (as I did with the other two shows), and it had some wild episodes, including an Army of Darkness parody of all things lol.

That was about it for me from that era. I liked some of the older shows from One Saturday Morning and of course the Disney Afternoon, as well as a few of the more recent series, but I thought that The Replacements, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, and The Buzz on Maggie were dumb and forgettable, while I've always found Phineas & Ferb highly overrated and monotonous. I much prefer the other cartoon about kids making the best of the summertime lol. I'd leave the Emperor's New Groove on sometimes as background noise, as it was nice to hear Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton again, but it wasn't clearly as clever as the original film. I did watch a bit of The Proud Family when it first started, because it was the only cartoon on the channel at the time and I was disappointed about that. I never thought it was very good, though. The animation was terrible and it was pretty mean spirited.

I think I would’ve enjoyed Kim Possible much more if the show had arcs. I mean, a few one-off episodes were fine, but maybe a serious 4-parter with a more serious villain that Draken and Shego (who were a glorified Team Rocket duo). None of the villains were really that big of a deal to me. I think the only one that I thought was interesting was DNAmy. I mean, for example, something like DuckTales or Darkwing Duck had plenty of one-off villains, but they had arcs where things were more dramatic than normal and the stakes felt higher. I never watched much of American Dragon. I loved Avatar: TLA though.

As far as their morning shows, I always loved The Weekenders and Pepper Ann. They had a quirky and fun sensibility. I can agree The Proud Family wasn't great, but I enjoyed it in a passing way. More because Oscar (the dad) was the butt of the joke the majority of the time, and I liked Suga Mama--who I still feel had to be a character WDAS looked at for the basis of Mama Odie's design in TP&TF. Plus one of Penny's friends--I looked up the show, and the character's name was Dijonay--reminded me a lot of one of my friends in high school (who passed away a couple of years ago). Something about the show's backgrounds made me think of One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

TL;DR: I watched pretty much any Disney cartoon...!

If we're going old school, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers was/is my favorite cartoon ever, but I also love Gummi Bears, The Wuzzles, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, House of Mouse. I also really like(d) TaleSpin, DuckTales, Goof Troop, Bonkers, Raw Toonage/Marsupilami, Darkwing Duck. I didn't watch Gargoyles much when I was a kid, but I'd love to catch up with it if it's on Disney+. For One Saturday Morning I also watched Recess, Doug, Pepper Ann, 101 Dalmatians, Mickey Mouse Works. For some reason I didn't watch The Weekenders too much, but I liked it when I did watch it.

I also always watched The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Timon & Pumbaa. I watched Quack Pack & The Emperor's New School, & The Replacements, too.

Malcolm was on Fox (that's why I was hoping it'd be on Disney+!). I was thinking of finding an old Nick thread and bumping that up...I love iCarly just as much as any Disney show (it's so funny- PlutoTV has a few Nickelodeon channels, and the iCarly episode with FЯed was on just the other day, and my husband saw a few minutes and was like "What are you watching?!" I was like, Usually the show is good!!! And he said something about Disney shows, and I was like No, it's Nickelodeon!!! )

The aforementioned Jasmine Richards, Alison Stoner, Roshon Fegan, and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle did other Disney work, and Meghan Martin did ABC Family stuff, so maybe they'd be game to come back. I know AMPdT was on Broadway (with Corbin!!), but I have no clue what any of them are up to. *edit* But even with new characters, like HSM:TM:TS, that might work, too...

SotS was never legally sold on home video in the US, but there are a bunch of bootlegs of it, some with decent quality. Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant.

I think it's amazing how many of these celebs you've met in person or talked to on the phone! I've never had any interaction with a celebrity in my life. And yes, it's funny how many of our old crushes are being resurfaced from these talks.

Oh, then that's definitely why I didn't see Malcolm in the Middle then. I'm okay with iCarly but in general I preferred the tone and humor of Disney Channel shows over Nick shows. Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 being the exceptions but Nick shows always felt a bit more adult with some mature jokes which I frankly would probably understand more now. Disney Channel was a lot more tame which I would have appreciated back then. I forgot about Fred lol. He was such a big deal back then although I never quite got the appeal.

I remember Roshon Fegan on Shake It Up. And I recently saw an interview with Alison Stoner online so I'd love to see all these old cast members back again. I remember Meghan Martin from Mean Girls 2 as well alongside Maiara Walsh. And Nicole Anderson, who played one of the mean girls, was on Jonas.

Yes, that's what I meant that I own a bootleg DVD of SOTS but I read in a thread here that it actually does get sold in some stores and Disney turns a blind eye.
