King Kong (second time) and Wallice and Gromit. Both wonderful films, and some of the best of 2005. W&G is awesome! I rarely laugh when on my own, but this had me cracking! King Kong unexpectedly began to show flaws very soon, but it's still a great movie, and definetely worthy of an A+! Great films, great time. :D

Watched Dog Day Afternoon last night- This is one of the best bank robbery movies ever. Based on a true story, I really like this movie.

Gunfight at the O.K. Corral* (1957): One of many films (at least two dozen by my count) that feature the real-life characters of Wyatt Earp and 'Doc' Holliday. In this case they are portrayed by Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas respectively, both of whom deliver terrific performances. While my preference tends towards My Darling Clementine (1946) (which I've reviewed here) or the more historically accurate Wyatt Earp (1994) (that I reviewed earlier here); Gunfight at the O.K. Corral is still compelling viewing even in territory as familiar as this. Besides, who can turn down a classic western?

*Not to be confused with The Goodies' Bunfight at the O.K. Tea Rooms.
