You haven´t even watch the real Disney and you dare to proclaim which music or movie is the best?
Pocahontas, is just a pile of crap compared to the very first Disney movies, because they maked history, they keep a legacy in the minds of the generations.
Ask anyone about Disney movies and from 10, 8 will be from the early Disney and one of this will be Bambi and not Pocahontas.

How many people remember that movie?how many remmeber the ending or the love that shared Smith and Pocahontas? but ask people about Bambi and the fisrt thing will say you is "Bambi´s mother death". That´s what make it better, a part that is keeped on all people´s mind.
And I talk about people who have seen Disney movies, and not little brats who thinks that Eminem and any raper or some dude that appear on a nc-17 rated movie saying f* words and stuff every 5 minuts is a good role model to follow.

think about all what had influence on the succes of a movie and not only "I fell like" speech before judjing young man.

Well, I prefer modern disney than the old disney. I like lion king, aladdin, pocahontas, etc. Yes, its true I haven't seen vintage disney, but those films in the late 80s to early nineties were the films that I grew up with. I didn't grow up watching snow white, but I instead grew up watching lion king, little mermaid, so that may well be why I enjoy newer films better.

And by the way, Pocahontas is a true story, and pocahontas actually did walk on this earth hundreds of years ago. Its a great love story. Maybe you don't like it, but hey, you are entitled to your opinion.

yeah,I know but many times the real history have "extra flavor" to make bigger the hero.
Not all the times and I bet never will know all the real ones because the winner is the one who write history.
It should be interesting to know that, I don´t know, what if when the Britians shooted at some US people(I don´t know a lot about US history) they where just defending theirselves of a growing danger?

Yes! Both sides of history is very interesting. I was in Florida last summer and history textbooks say that Lincoln was an evil, terrible president. Hehe. And in Japanese textbooks, they totally cover up WWII. I told my friend to check out British textbooks on her trip to England but she didn't find any.

Well I didn't know how to spell it so I don't care. You may be right, I might like it if I watched it. I mean that's what I tell people all the time.

As a fan of both, I can safely say that they both have faults.

Bambi may be a wonderful coming-of-age story through the eyes of a deer, but at the same time it's a soporific 70 minute film that could bore one to tears.

Pocahontas has some of the best songs/score in Disney films and a rich romantic story (with many liberties taken towards history), but at the same time is a completely historically innacurate and sappy cookie-cutter melodrama about two different worlds.

Everyone has their own opinion about movies, but I feel that in order to have a...justified opinion, they should at least watch the movie before they write it off as lousy or horrible. Case in point, a clunker like Home on the Range. To this day I have never seen it, nor do I plan to, but I can't say it's a horrible movie because I can't form an opinion based on a few minutes of clips I saw in a trailer or on TV. Some people may love this movie and have every right to praise and defend it, but I truly have no right to go about saying "God, this movie was awful! There was lousy animation, crappy storyline, and drab music! I don't know what the folks at Disney were smoking when they thought of this!"

I saw Home On The Range and I actually liked the jokes on the bonus features better. It's not bad but it could have been better. I didn't really like the songs. When I first heard about the movie I was thinking about the song "Home On The Range" that we sang on the way to a game farm when I was a child. The last thing I thought that the movie was about was three cows trying to save a dairy farm.

well, it wasn´t really a good movie but it have is good side...well, that´s what everyone say.

Pocahontas made me lose my respect for current Disney animation. Haven't seen a new Disney animated movie since.

Aladdin is one of the movies I dislike. I hate the genie with a passion, Raja was the only likeable character.

You must remember that not everybody likes those really old disney films..I don't really like them either. Snow white isn't too good either, for the same reasons werwold listed.

I can't really think of one that I dislike so much that I wouldn't watch it, but Pocahontas and Hercules are amongst the ones that whilst not being BAD exactly, just don't have enough about them to interest me for the duration.

this new generations just can´t enjoy something without violence, gun or anything else
