I just love the songs from Snow White with "One Song" being one of my favorite Disney songs ever. I also really like this cover:

Well, this article was recommended to me by Google:

Ugh. Snow White fell in love with the Prince! I guess couples always ask each other if they want to kiss before they do? No they don't!

*Sigh* Don't...these guys... have more pressing matters to be concerned about or just anything to keep them busy?

I don't know anything about the ride itself, but if it follows the movie, then I'm pretty sure he thinks she's dead when he kisses her, to say goodbye.

Before you know it, Disney will be changing the end of the ride to this.

^ That's hilarious!!!!
I'm preaching to the choir, but SW already met her Prince, she longed for him, sang about him, told her friends about him. I don't think that she'd mind a kiss from him, waking her up from otherwise-eternal slumber. C'mon people!

I do believe that is what happens. Because after the kiss he kneels to the ground and buries his head in his arm as if in grief.
It's all in the visuals. It doesn't have to be spelled out to keep the clickbait writers happy.

This is getting so ridiculous!
If they ever dare to censor Snow White, they should also censor all movies with "True Love's Kiss" scenes, such as Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent, Enchanted, Once Upon a Time, etc.
This makes me so angry ...

I seriously doubt anything's going to happen. The Internet's chock full of these faux outrage clickbait articles.

It’s a silly, fake controversy designed for clicks. I know people feel protective of these properties (I mean, personally, Snow White is top 5 Disney movies for me), but I wish we could just let these news stories go by without any comment because they’re just not worth engaging with. The Fairest Of Them All isn’t going anywhere.

I think people are right to be worried when it's been proven that Disney easily caves in to these demands and is deathly afraid of bad publicity and accusations of racism or sexism. That's especially true when these stories gain traction and get picked up by mainstream outlets. No, they're not going to censor the film or remove it from circulation, but it's highly likely they'll end up adding a disclaimer to it on Disney+ and make it inaccessible on kids' accounts. Not to mention, they can stop making rides based on these "problematic" films or when they do they, exclude the offending scenes from them. Additionally, it's possible they'll stop producing merch that feature these scenes as well. All of these are totally within the realm of possibility based on Disney's recent history.

Well, I mean, a lot of those older films like Snow White and Peter Pan probably deserve to have those exclamatory forewords in regards to their gender portrayals anyway. Even something as recent as TLM probably deserves it. It's not like parents can't override the blocks in some way if they so choose, at least playing it with their own accounts for the children to see if nothing else. Most of the older Disney films have something or other "wrong" with them, and Disney's not exactly going to wipe their whole catalog. Even from the past decade, TP&TF has the problematic “Black characters who aren’t really Black for the majority of the film” problem, Maui in Moana, somethingsomething about Frozen 2, etc. They'll all get them eventually.

But this is not a significant group or movement (I can’t even find an online petition) that has taken issue with the ending to Snow White. It’s just one article from one journalist that’s being circulated, mostly by conservative outlets to decry “cancel culture.” It’s all a bunch of bluster about a bunch of bluster.
Just to be clear, this dark ride at Disneyland is not an entirely new ride. It is an opening day attraction which has been revamped twice since 1955, the latest of which reopened under the name “Snow White’s Enchanted Wish” in 2021. This is the
first iteration of the Disneyland Snow White ride to depict the True Love’s Kiss scene at the end. Obviously, the company at present has no issues with the finale to the movie— otherwise they wouldn’t have incorporated it into the ride’s finale after 66 years!
