So the lithos that are available at the Disney Music Emporium website are not the same as the lithos available as a bonus for those who buy the entire collection from Disney D23? I pre-purchased the entire collection from D23, but the lithos included there have the same image as the album covers. But this litho from The Little Mermaid are a different one... The Disney Music Emporium site should have specified what kind of lithos that are available with their legacy collection CD's.

Here are all the lithos, Cinderella, & Lady and the Tramp currently do not have lithos.

From my understanding, all the lithos on the Disney Music Emporium are the back covers of the CD cases/booklets.

The ones that are currently available individually are the back covers. The ones that were exclusive to the full series preorder are the front covers.

Huh. Originally I just thought that must be the way it is in the film. But that isn't the case. Listening to it again, it's obviously a bad edit. Weird.
Do you guys think that Disney have discovered errors like this after the release and then replaced the music available on iTunes with correct tracks? They will obviously not make new CDs.

Unfortunately I doubt it. Who knows though, maybe with enough reason to they would. Disney Music Emporium seems very responsive the couple times I've emailed them about things. If they get enough messages, maybe it'd help

When can we expect a Pocahontas track list? It is one I am likely to buy along with Hunchback (if and when). I may get Aladdin if that appears at a later date but alas.

The covers seem to have got better over time. The Toy Story and Aristocats art work looks quite nice.

I received Cinderella in the mail the other day. Very beautiful, naturally. :) "Midnight Chase" sounds like something out of Fantasia or Sleeping Beauty, and, while listening to Kate Higgins on "I'm in the Middle of the Muddle" again, I couldn't help thinking how similar "Happy Working Song" (Amy Adams in Enchanted) sounds to it. Might just be the voices, I guess.

Hi, since you've got the Cinderella set (and the booklet to go with it presumably), I'm just wondering if it states what the last few recordings (the new score recordings) were specifically for. Does it state in the notes whether they were made specifically for the Legacy Collection release or for another purpose?

In any case, I finally got Fantasia and am planning on getting a few others. For some reason, I've become interested in getting the Disneyland set. I'm not as much a theme park fan as I am of the animated films (mainly due to geographical location and infrequency of park trips), but since I don't have any theme park music and it's relatively economical, I'm using that as an excuse to get it.

It doesn't say in the booklet or track listing that I could find? I had wondered about that myself. The first disc is the regular soundtrack you'd buy only restored; I'm thinking the extra tracks are some of the score not included there? "Cinderella: Prologue" is a combination of "Main Titles" and the score from when Cinderella is talking before her song found on track 2 of the first disc + a little more. There seems to be a little bit of score (10-15 seconds) not present in track 2 of the first disc just before Ilene Woods begins singing, and that's the difference? Or maybe its some score playing under the first part of her song, but it doesn't sound like it to me.

I haven't listened to all the other bonus tracks back to back with the first disc yet to know where the additions are exactly yet (although "Cat and Mice / The King's Plans" are tracks 3 and 4 from the first disc + 15 seconds to track 2 and 5 seconds to track 3), but I'm guessing small pieces of additional score missing from the regular soundtrack/ie the first disc are the reason. EDIT: I was just listening to it, but the brief "So This Is Love" melody that plays at the end of "The King's Plans" is altered/less pronounced on the disc 2 bonus track. Not quite sure why? "So This Is Love: Waltz" is missing the instrument (violin, I believe) briefly featured--or maybe it's just only that prominent briefly--on track 8, and it's quite a bit longer (about 40 seconds) than what's found on disc 1.

I'm guessing the score on the 2nd disc were taken from 'the music of disney's Cinderella'. The album featured cover versions by linda rondstadt, james ingram and many more. Plus reorchestrated Film score.

I finally got the Cinderella one and it was great! Great info, great pictures, even though I wish there had been more of Lorelay Bove's pictures, and it even had two pages about Cinderella's transformation and Disney dust! And Lorelay drew Cinderella's transformation, and painted her gown silver like it should be!

I haven't listened to the CD yet, though. I just got it a little while ago. So, did I read from you guys that there is some music from the original soundtrack CD's that have been made over the years that is not present on these CD's?

No, the music found on the second disc are re-orchestrations of the original film score taken from the Cinderella: Tribute to a Classic album (with Linda Ronstadt, Take 6, etc.).

I feel bad I didn’t know that myself, btw, since I actually own that Ronstadt album.

Oh, thank you for clearing that up! I didn't want my CD's to miss any of the original soundtrack that had made it on other CD's. I'm quite happy now. :)

Got my CINDERELLA yesterday and what a delight it is!
For the first time we get a set that is something over the usual in bonuscontent. Such difference compared with the lowmark in the series: Pinocchio.
Cinderellas bonudisc includes all the LOST CHORDS that have been released as "downloads only" before - finally on a real disc. I´m looking forward to Aristocats in that aspecct too, and hope they will include the previously released LOST CHORDS there as well.
Back to Cinderella:
Great to have the new orchestration of the score as well (on the bonusdisc) since the original on CD 1 sounds rather noisy with poor quality in some places (not especially on this release, the releases before were the same). So for once I agree to one of the new orchestrations that I usually doesn´t like very much.
All in all - one of the best releases in the series so far.
