A new Mickey Mouse short titled 'O Sole Minnie will be screened out of competition at this year's Venice Film Festival. A few stills from the short have been released.

UPDATE EVERYONE!

Well, first, the bad news. This month is a month off for Mickey Mouse Shorts. BOO!

But, the good news is, we'll get more Mickey Mouse Shorts coming next month.

Here's what's coming up:

October 4th: Ghoul Friend (Such a funny cartoon and my brother loved it.)

October 11th: Dog Show (Pluto better be there this time.)

and

October 18th: O Sole Minnie (Saw the clip. And does this mean Willie the Whale has been resurrected?)

You know, Disney seems to be observing Mickey's 85th anniversary without really saying it. We got these really awesome TV episodes, plus the upcoming theatrical throwback short, but not formal celebration has been planned.

Well, it's not like they're letting the anniversary go by entirely unnoticed. I would think that this show would have at least a little something to do with it.
