I like it, Heck I can envision a Music Video with scenes from the movie. I imagine this will be at the end credits. I will definitely have to pick up the soundtrack when it comes out.

It's horrendous. 
Mariah Carey has done far worse though. I'd have much rather heard a song written/composed by an actual musical songwriter/composer. When You Believe is very strong and Mariah does fine with that.

I love the song! Bought it on iTunes. Would be great both for Mariah and Disney if this could get to #1. I like that Mariah is going back to pop and showing her strong voice, and hope this is a taste of how her next album will be like. And I am really excited for the music video!

Terrible song...It sounds like a R&B/poppy autotuned song....Bit Disney channel like and totally nothing close to Carey's early work. Her voice has obviously suffered over years, since she can't hit the high notes anymore...
The witch on the other hand looks really scary...nothing like the witch in the 1939 movie but really cool...only bit shame that we can't recognize Mila in it anymore..

My god... That song is awful. That's a shame. Being the single song to represent the film, this doesn't say "Oz" to me at all.

There are no reviews on RT yet, is it troubling that they have apparently not screened this so close to its release?

Oz doesn't open for another three weeks. Unless it's screening in film festivals, we're not likely to see critic's reviews this early. There's a TV spot floating around, can't find it right now as there are so many, that shows a split second of the witch transformation. And it looks like it will be classic Disney.
I have a feeling Sam Raimi understands classic Disney much better than Tim Burton. Which is unexpected. I'm way more excited about this than I ever was about Alice in Wonderland.
