At CD Tradepost I picked up the following Blu-ray discs in the past couple of days:

Clash of the Titans (2010) - $13.99
The Thing - $7.99
Big Trouble In Little China - $7.99
Speed - $6.99
Rein Over Me - $6.99
Benchwarmers - $6.99

Shopping for the new titles within a couple of days release is always easier than paying those high prices at Best Buy or any other place.

Have you Seen Reign Over Me Before...I thought it was a very good serious movie with Adam Sandler...and usually...you don't see him in real serious roles....or the person who he played....overall it's a great movie.> I remember seeing part of i with my dad and then I went to see Spongebob Squarepants the movie that I had tickets too after he saw the Movie about Ray Charles.....Yes I know now I think I Must have been crazy...I skipped a movie about he life or Ray CHarles for Sponge who lives in a pineapple on the big screen with Scarlett Johanson guest staring :P

Hollywood Video's bankruptcy is hitting Canada as the local Movie Gallery is now at 50 to 70% off the entire store. Today I got these DVDs used...

All that plus Justice League Heroes and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for PS2 (I can't bring the Wii with me to university so I need otoget more old PS2 and Gamecibe games) the total was about $33. I think I did well. :)

Make that about $43 because I went back to get Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures for PS2 and...

Adventureland

Which is great for me until I remember that I just went to Star Wars: In Concert spending loads, I've got to get my last shipment of Comics before I move, there's lots of movies I'd like to see, I want #2-6 of Scott Pilgrim before I see the movie, Kick-Ass comes to BD soon and to to it all off I need stuff for university this September... I seem to be pretty weak with my money. I need a job.

Was considering getting Clash myself, but they really raped the DVD bonus features on this one and it's not worth the $24 it's going at around here. I'm sure in about a year's time it will be down to $10. It's possible it will be $6 on Boxing Day in December. I'll wait until then.

Tonight, I replaced my single disc with the 2-disc:

Free @ Superstore - used some shoppers points on it and also got a free bag of chips. :D

Now all I just need to get is Half-Blood Prince and I'm all set for the release of Deathly Hallows. 8)

I hope you noticed that it was the Blu-ray version of "Clash of the Titans" that was purchased. None of the extras on the Blu-ray are available on the DVD version. So $13.99 was a good price for the Blu-ray.

Closing sale madness strikes again! It's up to 80% off now so it's cheaper than renting. Thus these next ones are all blind buys...

Image
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete First Season (I have never seen a Terminator film before but always meant to and with such high recommendations for this show I just assume I'll like the films, at least the first two, and would eventually kick myself if I did not get First Season of the show for less than $8.)

Image
Terminator Salvation

Image
Young Triffie (Less than $3 so it does not have to be good but I'm surprised to see reviews of his film ranging from calling it hilarious to quite disturbing... Odd considering the happy-looking cover art.)

The Foot Fist Way

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

Pretty good show. It's just too bad it was cancelled at the end of the 2nd season. They're talking about doing a straight-to-DVD movie to tie-up the loose ends.

I am annoyed how they say "The acclaimed director of Alice in Wonderland" on the box when Tim Burton didn't even direct James and the Giant Peach. I think they just got them both mixed up somehow.
