IAWTC. It's like the slightly less obnoxious half-brother of the PE "The Lion King".

Who is that directed to?

Marce.

Absolutely! The DVD restoration looks incredible!

Just ordered it from DMC... not so excited for the bonus features (except the audio commentary, which I heard was fabulous), but I'm still pretty thrilled that I'm going to have Snow White on DVD.

Because they're evil.

I saw the DVDs Saturaday, so I'll be getting that for Christmas. I wonder why the coverart isn't as fancy and cool looking than the blu-ray? I don't see the reason why they did that. Maybe it's because they want to make their blu-rays pretty so people can be attracted to it.

I think the DVD has the better cover art, especially when compared to the art for the Blu-ray packaging, where it's like all about the hag and Snow White pops up very small at the bottom. The DVD is less cluttered.

I agree. I think the DVD looks more classic, while the Blu-ray combos are a bit too cluttered.

That and I don't find Blu-ray cases that flattering.

I'll admit I was disappointed in the Blu-Ray cover art; the DVD looks so much classier. Then again I make my purchases for the films and features themselves, not the cover art.

Same here. I've never turned down purchasing a film because of it's cover art. I might moan and groan if I think it looks absolutely ridiculous but I'd still buy it.

On second thought, the DVD case did look a little better because the cover art was simpler. Snow White was a lot larger and the giant apple behind her reflected the dwarfs and the prince, so it's not bad at all. The blu-ray case was just glitterly with bold, blue lines going along the edges. But obviously the movie is what matters.

Oh, totally! You know, I still groan about some of the old VHS covers but I still bought the movies then too.

I'm not saying "Snow White looked lousy, I'm not buying it," I'm just saying that the near-unlimited resources Disney has, they could at some point probably make some cover art that wasn't just a cluttered clipart hodgepodge of the movie's cast or floating heads in space.

Wasn't accusing you there.

It's more that I'm probably one of the worst sticklers there is about cover art. I understand they're trying to appeal to people (and their kids) buying off the shelves, but yikes . . . I really have to bite my tongue at times at how horrid some of my favorite movies are depicted by their covers!

Sometimes I wish I could go without buying.

The cover art looks pretty good. The only thing that could've been adjusted is the size of the title on the front; could've been slightly bigger.
